The vast majority of staffers in DC are little more than in house lobbyists.

I would disagree. He’ll help to write legislation....something his boss is incapable of doing...and ensure that Comcast is in a very fine position for years to come, with various deals coming his way. They never investigate the staff of Congressmen or senators...which is very helpful in getting such gentlemen to come over and work for such a small amount of money.

Comcast is a evil animal and should be broken up.A cable company should not own NBC -Universal .
It destroys fair trade.

True, but it's a revolving door between govt and the "private" sector. They're smart enough to realize over a long period, the average dough will be awesome.

The huge profits of the cable side allow running propaganda channels like CNN and MSNBC with little worry about them making money.

DC inbreeding at its finest.
It’s been going on for centuries, but it’s worse now because DC controls so much of the country.

This is why I’ve been saying that despite people yammering on about MSNBC’s low ratings Comcast will never shut it down. Its losses are a fly spec on Comcast’s income statement and it’s a way to continue to ingratiate itself to The Regime, especially as the Time Warner acquisition requires regulatory approval.

Wow, the stench coming from everything related to reid the crook is overwhelming.

Reid has reached the point where even though his talking points are written for him his mental state is such that he has no idea how mind numbingly stupid he sounds while he tries to read them.

My wife and I just signed up today with AT&T. We have Comcast.

They have a promo for $39 that include U-verse (18 Mbps), basic TV, and HBO for 12 months.

I've had it with Comcast/MSNBC.
