How about a 3 minute text summary so we can decide if we want to endure a video for 40 minutes?

I just watched, figuring that I could quit anytime. However, I found it very interesting and informative. It features interviews with several dissenting members of the founding committe, whatever it was called.

I feel, like many, that there is just something different and alarming about the whole thing, and I got some angles on that which I hadn’t been aware of.

I saw this on FB and have it bookmarked for tomorrow morning. I don’t think I can take one more thing tonight... Thanks for the heads up.

A Common Core Game Changer

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3139035/posts

Sharing the truth “About Common Core” in every home, business, coffee shop and church in America is as easy as saying, “Hey, there’s a free app for that!”

http://truthinamericaneducation.com/common-core-state-standards/need-more-info-about-common-core-theres-an-app-for-that/

a powerful, easy to use and easy to leverage app from their smartphone or tablet. This mobile app is intended to be a teaching aid, a quick reference tool, one that adds confidence and removes fear from anyone that might be timid, feel too uninformed or lacking in confidence to speak with others. Hopefully, this app will be a great equalizer in the well funded spin war being funded by our friends of Common Core,” Cunningham added. “Our app is simply one tool to help millions of current activists awaken many new millions, taking them from ‘Common who?’ to ‘Over my dead body!’ in mere minutes.”

The federal govt spent over $4 billion tax dollars at the most financially vulnerable time for States since the depression to bribe them to accept Common Core. There federal government has zero Constitutional authority to involve its self in education.

This video is long, but on the thread are a few “minute markers” - topics and times on the video. The first hour is about Agenda 21, for example. It is a comprehensive look at how common core is agenda 21 implementation.

I was all set to watch the entire thing but the background music made it tough for me.

It was much too loud.

At 8:23 - “to build a database”. All statists want “a database” (which happens to be an unusually well developed skill of mine). That’s all I need to know to be more than skeptical.

All these information videos have to have that dramatic music.

It’s annoying as hell to me.

I don’t want to emotionally manipulated in that manner while
I am listening to something about how we are being manipulated.

Is it supposed to keep us engaged?
It is distracting to my musical ear and I turned it off.

I want to send a link to all my friends.
They should fix it.

At 18:30, the info on requirements to exempt incoming college students from remedial math education insures we will cease to dominate in the few industries we still have some distance from the ankle biters of socialism.

21:45 - the worst of both worlds - too rigid for “career ready”, but not good enough for “college ready” (trade vs profession). Very compelling and depressing for our future.

32:21 - David Coleman is a nice man, but...

"He generally believes that systemization, centralization, and data collection are good things for kids".
