Isn’t “not doing well in prison” part of punishment? Oh yeah... for other people I guess. Shameful.
Most people “don’t do well” in gaol.
(Is this another case of “follow the money?”)
The judge should have given him a choice: prison or death penalty.
Prosecutors sought only probation. Wow.
So if you look like a rough, tough customer they’ll sentence you to a longer prison stay because you’ll do well there? If I end up in front of this judge I’m going to wear a tutu and swish.
“Johnnie, what do you make of this?”
“I could make a hat or a broach or a pterodactyl...”
Agreed. I am hoping this is a one time “I’m rich and paid off the judge” case vs a new standard. Child molesters and rapists don’t do well in prison so should NONE of them be sent there? Makes my blood boil to think what that 3 year old baby girl went through with that monster.
Should have been dropped from a helicopter.................at 1000 feet and no parachute................
This would be a prime case for prosecutorial misconduct and possible impeachment of the bench.
Follow the money.
He’s a rich liberal elite. No way he should be in prison with the common folk.../s
Another judge didn’t have trouble sentencing John E. DuPont to prison for murdering his boy toy back in 1997 or so. John died in prison about 10 years later.
I guess that ‘affliction’ is more common than the general public is supposed to know. Even the Judge took his side, using pedestrian vernacular, i.e. “Mr. Richards is a rich white boy who is also a pervert. We would not be able to protect him.” PROTECT him?? That is their concern? How about protecting society from him and his past deeds. Makes you wonder how far back does the incident of child sexual abuse go generationally speaking.
ok..we will go with that...maybe some bears like their meat tenderized.
> Judge Felt He Would Not Do Well in Jail
They should drop him and the judge both in jail and force them both to dress in drag.
