US is so big, it really varies from State to State.
Let’s hear some republicans state that it’s insulting to assume that non-whites don’t want limited government. Please, go on offense. Eliminate the racial divides and stand for something.
If true, the nations downhill slide will probably be even faster.
I have so many conflicting thoughts about this. One thing is true though, keeping the flame of real liberty alive for more than a few generations at a time is impossible. What is so frustrating though is that the people who spread the seeds of demise never have to personally experience the future problems

May 09, 2006By the 1960s, Greeks, Poles, Portuguese and Italians were complaining that immigration quotas discriminated against them in favor of Western Europeans. The Democratic Party took up their cause, led by President John F. Kennedy. In a June 1963 speech to the American Committee on Italian Migration, Kennedy called the system of quotas in place back then " nearly intolerable."
After Kennedy's assassination, Congress passed, and President Lyndon Johnson, signed the Immigration and Naturalization Act. It leveled the immigration playing field, giving a nearly equal shot to newcomers from every corner of the world. The ceremony was held at the foot of the symbolically powerful Statue of Liberty. Yet President Johnson tried to downplay the law's significance. "This bill that we will sign today is not a revolutionary bill. It does not affect the lives of millions. It will not reshape the structure of our daily lives or add importantly to either our wealth or our power."

What’s more, very few of these immigrants are being brought into the country based upon what they can contribute to the country or because they come from a similar background. If you want to witness the collapse of a society, watch what happens when you combine illiteracy, lack of a standard language, and lack of faith in God.

Also, how do they determine “Whiteness”? My ancestry is European and American Indian, but I get lumped into “White.”
It needs to sting in order for people to try to avoid it.
Of course, in our society today, anything that “offends” is punished, especially if the “offense” is pointing out a character deficit.
I personally wouldn’t call the article bigoted, but I would call it biased, in the way it’s written.
HOWEVER ... the facts presented here (in terms of the population mix) is neither bigoted or biased.
In addition to that - it certainly does spell TROUBLE for conservatives in the long run.
Exactly, my home state of West Virginia is 94% White as of the 2010 census, and becoming less white at roughly 1% every ten years. Assuming that trend continues and doesn't reverse or speed up, whites won't be less than 50% of the population until the year 2460....

The problem was not the US law, the problem is the Roman Catholic Church.
The population pressure resulting from the Roman Catholic directives to propagate produced stress on the border. That stress has proved unmanageable.
The current in migration is not all Catholic to be sure but results from the heritage in Mexico.
The Church recognizes no political boundaries or civil differentiation. It is the Church. That is the fact in spite of apologies to the contrary by the American church leaders

That doesn’t explain the changes we see on the west coast...many of our towns are now nearly 100% Asian and Indian.

Absolutely, that’s what I’m getting at though if the USA in general is shifting around, it doesn’t bode well for the NATIONAL ELECTIONS.
You said W. Va. and I can understand that.
Wisconsin, 86.2% white, Iowa, 91.3% white, these figures per wiki, so largely populated states like Florida, Texas, California and I assume New York affect the National outlook.
Hope the Durn Feds can leave the States alone just like I hope big cities can leave the rest of State alone as happens in some States.
We may be saddled with a bad Federal Government but perhaps the States can still be run sensibly.
I believe by Census records, “whiteness” is somewhat “self-identifying” by the person who the census record is about.
Are you “white” by your own determination? If so, then that’s what you probably checked off on forms that asked you.
