Don’t smart people make more $ and hence will buy more products?

Then why does big business want kids dumbed down?

Not sure I fully grok the concept that dumb students/graduates will provide suitable staff for businesses, large or small, that rely on human effort to advance their success...

But, then, I know that 32 minus 12 equals 20, and I can get to that solution in one step, not five.

Big business wants “satisfied” serfs (aka workers) who will do menial jobs without expecting anything else for the rest of their lives.

Even more critically, don't better educated smart people make better employees?

What is big Business thinking, exactly?
I'm baffled.

312
-100

Common Core is really so easy. For the problem above it goes like this.

Take out the 12 an multiply the remaining number by 100
Take the 10 out of the 100 and then multiply by 10.
Take the totals from the prior two steps and and deduct 200.
Answer is 212.

Cheaper workers.

Off loading of benefits to the State.

Same reason we imported millions of illegal workers.
