As predicted. A good friend is on Rauners campaign staff running the media strategy. Told him months ago that the Democrats were going to “Mitt Romney him” playing him as a rich guy who doesn’t understand average Illinoisan’s.
My advice to him then was that Rauner should stick it right back to Quinn by being proud of his hard work that resulted in his successful business’ and that Illinois OBVIOUSLY needs someone who understands how the real world works to fix this states problems.
We’ll see soon if my friend took my advice, hope they do, Pat Quinn has been a DISASTER and if he gets re-elected the 66% income tax hike he signed will not only become permanent! the Democrats are already planning on raising it AGAIN and instituting a “millionaires” tax too.
The class warfare BS could be shot down rather easily by simply asking the rats where rich people come from. Surely not even dems are dumb enough to believe someone just goes to bed one night and wakes up a millionaire the next morning.

Of course, the lesson will be driven home rather well if they do get their taxes passed and either drain every millionaire of his millions or send them off to more tax-friendly countries.
