The President has embraced the term, but Nancy Pelosi is still a bit annoyed by that people keep referring to The Affordable Care Act as "Obamacare." The Democratic Congresswoman chided a reporter who asked her if the new law will be a "winner or loser" for Democrats facing re-election in 2014.
"I believe it's a winner, and by the way, it's called, 'The Affordable Care Act,' it's called, 'The Affordable Care Act.' I know you didn't intend any compliment, or derogatory...it's called, 'The Affordable Care Act,'" she replied.
Pelosi joked that she'd gladly tell President Obama the same thing before criticizing Republicans in the House for repeatedly attempting to repeal the law.
The Congresswoman said its opponents repeatedly try to get away from the word "affordable."
She’s absolutely right.
It’s Democrat-Care.

It’s actually the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Nan. You should probably get it right if you’re gonna bash people for calling it the wrong name.
First of all it has nothing to do with “affordable”.
Second, during the debates Obama said he was proud for it to be called obamacare.

Obama is not running for office anymore. The sooner the talking heads and politicians on the right stop covering for the rest of the Dems and start laying the blame where it belongs the better.
Remember, Obama and his staff did not write this, they already had it ready to go from Baucus, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Rats.
We don’t call it the “affordable care act” because that would be a lie, and unlike the botox hag Pelosi, we were taught not to lie.
