Gay, lesbian troops perform in drag at Kadena Air Base fundraiser

KADENA AIR BASE, Okinawa — Since the repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, U.S. military bases have hosted gay marriage ceremonies and potluck gatherings. But on Saturday, servicemembers here may have been the first to take to the stage and perform as drag queens on a military installation in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender troops.

Drag queens and drag kings, to be precise.

Six servicemembers — gay, lesbian and straight — donned heavy makeup to dance and lip sync songs such as “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” for a raucous capacity crowd at the Rocker NCO Club at Kadena Air Base. The event was a fundraiser for the recently formed Okinawa chapter of OutServe-SLDN, which is the largest nonprofit advocate for the military’s LGBT community.

I have never thought that men in drag was funny. In the movies, on stage, on TV shows, etc. NEVER! There’s a local commercial here for a grocery store where a local actor and radio personality takes different roles to show the different departments of the store. It ends with him dressed in drag as a cashier and talking like a woman. UGH!
Not funny!

(I posted this on another thread and I’ll ping it here.)

This is immoral debasement of a place that history has not forgotten. A perverted dance on the graves of our deceased. Of all the places they could choose for this sick display they chose Okinawa.

“Battle of Okinawa”

“...The Battle of Okinawa is distinguished among battles, yet often unrecognized when referring to the great battles of the Second World War. Over 250,000 people lost their lives. Approximately 150,000 Okinawans, about a third of the population, perished.[1] At the battle’s end, somewhere between a third and half of all surviving civilians were wounded.[2] No battle during the Second World War, except Stalingrad, had as massive a loss of civilian life. The stakes were high. The Japanese, determined to fight to the last man, almost achieved their objective, but in defeat 100,000 Japanese combatants died rather than surrender.[3] In the end, fewer than 10,000 of General Mitsuri Ushijimas’s Thirty-Second Army were taken prisoner.[4]

United States loss of life was staggering as well. The United States Navy sustained the largest loss of ships in its history with thirty-six lost and 368 damaged.[5] The Navy also sustained the largest loss of life in a single battle with almost 5,000 killed and an equal number wounded.[6] At Okinawa, the United States Tenth Army would incur its greatest losses in any campaign against the Japanese.[7] The Tenth Army, which initially was made up of 183,000 army, navy, and marine personnel.[8] During those eighty-two days, the Tenth Army would lose 7,613 men and over 30,000 men would be evacuated from the front lines for a minimum of a week due to wounds.[9] Moreover, the largest numbers of U.S. combat fatigue cases ever recorded would occur on Okinawa...”

Don’t ask but the GLBT crowd sure do show and tell. Part of that disease of soul is they don’t respect boundaries and their sexuality trumps all else. That the military embraces this trash is a travesty. Land of the creeps and home of the depraved. God is not pleased nor grant His favors. George Washington would be appalled to the max.
Flux all no good godless leftists.

It's a sad day for our military and for all the normal men and women who are serving our country.

How long before our enemies perceive us and our military as weak or a big joke and decide to take some sort of preemptive action.

this is from March 2.

I’ve been reading this headline once every two days since.

Is there some way we could give this non story this stupid story a rest?

this is not the entire military. Not by a long shot.

But the story is meant to demoralize, as was the incident.

Stars and Stripes newspaper is a liberal rag and has been for some time.

Can we please stop this story? WE have all seen it. Numerous times. Enough to think it is happening all over. It happened once

This is agitation propaganda. The safe play is to buy a ticket, attend and stand in the back. Else be born out as the target for defamation. It’s training, they just don’t call it that.

Self-designating targets.

"Blanket parties" including "soap in a sock" coming up in the near future?

Couldn’t watch more than a few seconds... Now that’s someone I want defending me. Someone who’ll get freaked out by a broken fingernail.
