The FBI recently released 2013's top 10 most dangerous cities and surprise! They're all run by Democrats. Patriot Nation News breaks down the cities and their Democratic mayors:

Camden, NJ —Mayor Dana Redd, Democrat
Flint MI — Mayor Dayne Walling, Democrat
Detroit MI — Mayor Dave Bing/Mike Duggan, Democrat(s)
Oakland, CA — Mayor Jean Quan, Democrat
St. Louis, MO — Mayor Francis Slay, Democrat
Cleveland, OH — Mayor Frank Jackson, Democrat
Gary, IN — Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson, Democrat
Newark NJ — Mayor Corey Booker/Luis Quintana, Democrat(s)
Bridgeport, CT — Mayor Bill Finch, Democrat
Birmingham, AL — Mayor William A. Bell, Democrat

It's also important to point out that 6 out of the 10 most dangerous cities are in states with strict gun control laws.

Portland OR, Portland ME, and Burlington VT are also run by Democrats.

Are you sure it’s not something else?

This is evidence that Democrats hold most mayoral seats, irrespective of the relative safety of the city. Also, some of those seats are officially non-partisan. So, yes, Jean Quan is a Democrat but she is not a Democrat mayor.

Top ten?

Are there cities that are not run by the union/mafia/RATs?

There are other crime statistics to consider, and I can’t say because that would be profiling, and that is racist.

Would the cities be less dangerous if they elected Republicans?

Well, Gulianni did a good job on the NYC filth.

If a city had conservative Republican leadership/administration, and equally conservative cops and judges...hell yes.

Rudy was more to the center as compared to Gloomburg.

Not to sound racist but it would also be interesting to know how many of those cities have black or minority mayors?

True, but neither would be confused with a conservative. I had mixed feelings about Rudy. He was a pompous ass, but he did good work on petty crime.
