Yours is the "Post of the Week".

Well said.

The seductive and sometimes successful siren call of Libertinarians has been evident on these threads for years.

In truth, they are ruiners and spoilers....and reliable enablers for the Left to gain and retain power. It's time they are "outed".

Libertarian-rooted, smooth-talking Rand Paul ran as a Republican for cover. He's for amnesty, for one thing....and felons voting, for another. He remains fuzzy on many social issues for fear of offending the Christian right.

The Dims would LOVE him to be on a GOP ticket...for so many reasons.

Was he a real Libertarian, or a Democrat stooge?

Yes.

Pity more "Libertarians" cannot figure this out. They are truly free from lots of things, including Logic.

What would be interesting is if the Senate ends up tied and a VP that wants to run for president himself is the deciding vote. Not so sure he’d be so devoted to the Lame Duck - not the way this WH has been treating him.

The Dem “Excitement” Tank is empty. All they got left is Rahm the Godfather who will leave a horse head on your pillow if you don’t vote for him.

And in Reagan’s day we didn’t have 27yr old pajama boys living at home. Youth vote was different - was evenly split between Carter and Reagan.

This one impressed me, because even with a split vote, it was our side that won with the Clintonian plurality.

I believe it shows Axlegrease is correct.

The Dem “Excitement” Tank is empty.

I was pretty depressed after their game plan worked perfectly in Virginia and McAwful won for governor.

This race gives some more hope.

I always liked Cuccinelli even though I’m not from Va. He was a great Attorney General. A real conservative. It is depressing that people will vote for outright crooks like that sleazy Clinton whore McAwful.

Was Cuccinelli not that good of a campaigner? I know he had that phony libertarian guy ciphoning off votes. Was that the difference or something else?

I think Cuccinelli was whipped in a crosswind of charges of homophobia ( when gay marriage was the cool thing ) and taking a few gifts from Williams; meanwhile McAuliffe lines his pocket and drains the public sector with GreenTech.

The American voter depresses me.

Cucc gave a speech before the Bristol Nascar race in August.
Really got the crowd pumped up talking about Obama and gun control.

Sadly he was overcome by the Dem game plan of “war on women” + “fund a libertarian to bleed R votes”

Not so sure he’d be so devoted to the Lame Duck - not the way this WH has been treating him.

He'll serve the master. Just like the Soviet communists before them, a democrat's first and foremost duty is total obedience of and service to the Party.

He wasn't the best campaigner I've ever seen, but the infestation from Maryland, DC and Delaware of the northern part of the state has turned Virginia hard left for statewide elections. That's why I'm not taking too seriously any attempt to unseat Mark Warner. Warner is one of the Senatorial "sainted ones," adored by their constituencies and destined to remain in the Senate until they retire or die.

(Axelrod got explanations for all this?)

What bloom'en jerk Obama is. America's uninformed and misinformed are responsible for this fraud to be where he is and because of his color, can't even be impeached or made to answer for his crimes against his country.

“Rand Paul will secure the nomination if he is able to stop Libertarians from running as third party candidates in the 2014 elections.”

Rand Paul IS a Libertarian, hiding like a trojan horse within the Republican Party. The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“If the Republicans were actually conservative they might not be vulnerable to libertarian candidates”

Libertarians aren’t conservatives either. They are Dem lites. Pro drugs, anti any war, pro immigration, let felons vote, etc. Any conservative who votes Libertarian Party has never been a conservative in the first place.

““The Third Way” is something new, it’s exciting.”

Actually, it’s not new and it’s not exciting. The “Third Way” was what Mussolini called it when he was creating his new Party in Italy prior to WWII. It ultimately ended up being called fascism.

As spoken by a true Libertarian, lol. You’re on the wrong website. Head over to the Libertarian Party’s website where you belong.
