CPAC MAKES NO ROOM FOR PRO-LIFE PANEL
Breitbart ^ | 3/5/14 | Austin Ruse

Posted on 03/08/2014 4:57:24 AM PST by rhema

Pro-life leaders have noticed that not a single panel or specific speaker on life issues has been scheduled for the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which is supposed to be the preeminent annual gathering of conservatives in America.

Pro-lifers note there are important panels on the IRS scandal, immigration, Common Core, privacy, gun control, and criminal justice reform--issues in which pro-lifers would be keenly interested. Pro-lifers generally pride themselves on being “full spectrum conservatives”; that is, supporters of the three-legged stool: economics, national security, and moral issues. So they would not complain about panels covering these issues.

But they note other panels on career counseling, methods of making friends, pot smoking, making posts go Upworthy, and even one on Vaccines vs. Leeches, and wonder if there is no room for a panel or two on life issues--issues that motivate a tremendous number of grassroots activists who also vote conservative.

In an age when religious freedom is under attack, they also note there isn’t a single panel on the issue or a panel on traditional marriage, an issue that is roiling the country and will end up in the Supreme Court in the coming months.

Are we going to have to leave C-Pac, too? or change it from within?

The frightened bunny party platform is a thin coat of paint to lure voters. Nothing more.

Change it from with in. I'm tired of "bravely" retreating from every fight.

You two have nailed it. Another conservative group, coopted by what? Logcabin folks seemed to take over about five years ago, or is it ten now, and if moral issues are off the table then one must suspect that so called mainstream Republicans are really the takeover arteests.

CPAC obviously doesn’t know the importance of child sacrifice in regards to God’s management of nations. The only time God did not forgive Israel in the Old Testament was when they were sacrificing their children.

“The only time God did not forgive Israel in the Old Testament was when they were sacrificing their children”

When was that? I thought God told Abraham to sacrifice his son. I realize he stopped him but he did command him to do so and expected him to obey.

I have always had my doubts about C-PAC
the fact that Christie spoke there tells me
there is something going on that smells of
RHINO in conservative drag

Without Life there are no other issues. To the unborn the 2nd amendment, economy, IRS issues don't matter.
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Life comes first before any liberty.

CPAC is run by the ACU which is very establishment GOP friendly. That’s the problem right there.

Could it be that we have made some great strides in ridding ourselves of abortion. When we have abortion clinics closing all over the country we are doing pretty good which I could not be more thrilled. Of course I want more done. Homosexuality is running rampid in our society….I think it is becoming an epidemic….not a day goes by that gays make inroads. It is frightening how homosexual sin is becoming accepted in America.

RINO-PAC

Seems as though pretty much everything “conservative” is being infected by the RINO virus.

I left CPAC years ago. It was turning into a RHINOfest.

Barack Obama is the punishment. We will get more of this punishment if this keeps up.

Commie technique in progress.

Get a hold of the leadership and secretly make it appear as if the entire group is in your camp.

You will note that the MSM fell all over itself with favorable coverage of Christie, but ignored Cruz other than his denunciation of Dole, McCain. CPAC wants favorable MSM coverage.
