I used to like Rand Paul until he revealed himself to be an amnesty supporter and then rented himself out to McConnell dirt cheap. So I hope that Cruz runs circles around him in the coming months.

Neither of these guys is going to be the Republican nominee in 2016. The nominee will most likeley be a sitting Governor. The danger is that either Cruz or Paul will branch off and form a third party as did Perot with the result being the election of a Democrat. This is the way Republicans commit suicide.

Have you ever noticed that competitors open their stores next to each other?

Like how there is a CVS next to Walgreens? Yep, sure have.

Randy Paul has made clear that he has abandoned conservatism in favor of reaching across the aisle.

I think it is Rand Paul who is trying to outmaneuver Rand Paul.

I disagree. Repubs have been comitting suicide just fine by selecting leaders like Boehner, McCain, Romney and so on.

As for a third party? Sure it would help the dems. But so would Repubs selecting Christie as our prez nominee.

If I can’t vote for Cruz for president, I won’t be voting.

I could care less about the Republicans. If Cruz or Palin finally broke off and formed a new, truly Conservative party, then I’m going with them. Screw the GOP-E.

Be for American jobs.

You seem to troll every thread with a call for American Jobs.

Are you incapable of finding work in an economy in which 90% of people who really want to work are, in fact, working?

I see help wanted signs everywhere I go. They are not for glamourous jobs, but generally they are for jobs that are dirty and hard.

Why are you so concerned about getting back American Jobs when there are jobs available now that apparently a lot of Americans aren't interested in doing.

If you can't find a job, then start your own business. There are plenty of people doing that.

I am not looking for a job.

We are however giving the future to China.

Bring back American jobs.

They aren’t going to nominate Christy. Watch for Kasich from Ohio or the Governors of Indiana or Wisconsin to emerge. I also think ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has a shot at it.

Not a fan of either but highly probable I would vote for Cruz. Not a chance on this planet I’d vote for Paul.

When Ross Perot formed a third Party the result was Bill Clinton for 2 terms. You may want to “screw” the Republican Party, but if you are part of a third party, you are just conceding the presidency to 8 more years of a Democrat. I never could understand 100% idealogues who would rather live with the Devil than someone who agrees with them 80% of the time.

And don’t count out Gov. Perry from Texas. Yeah, he bungled it real bad back in ‘12, but I like him.

Perry will be in the mix. Both Perry and Huckabee speak at CPAC today.
