Roberts was retained to "represent" a client who happened to be a murderer. There are very few instances when lawyers can refuse to represent someone.

Off hand, I know of only one---Charles Stuart, Boston, who murdered his pregnant wife and blamed it on a Black man. He could not get a lawyer to represent him----the visceral disdain for his actions reached epidemic proportions.

What Adegbile did in the Mumia cop-killer case was far different. Adegbile personally aligned himself w/ the cop killer.....he joined the radical leftwing propaganda campaign and publicly praised Mumia to the heavens.

Adegbile was an avowed political partisan; it was doubtful he could objectively enforce US law and enforce civil rights laws on a colorblind basis.

Good riddance Adegbile, we don't need our civil rights defended by a leftist lowlife.
