Tim Cook advises climate change deniers to get out of Apple stock

In his job as Apple CEO, Tim Cook is mostly known for having a demeanor that's in some ways antithetical to that of Steve Jobs. Instead of bombast and bold claims, Cook's soothing Southern-tinged speech and steely temperament have marked him as a man whose head could be nothing but level. That is, unless you're a shareholder who thinks climate change is bogus.

So the mining of silver, sand for the glass, the production of petroleum based plastic and all of the transportation involved not to mention all the infrastructure and the water and sewage required to manufacture their over priced crap all comes from the wind and the sun?...

We do a lot of things besides business for profit. Easy to say when you have 100 billion in the bank. Tim, is having the phones made in China one of those things. But, what Rush does goes against the liberal ideology. So, in a big way, Apple and Cook are paying Rush to destroy their agenda. Apple and Cook are supporting the conservative cause, even if they didn't intend it that way.

Sorry about that. Just pointing out that it is cold and snowy in Texas in March. You would think someone running a business would at least have some heart for those businesses that were modeled on warmer climate projections. They are all going bust eventually.

Is anyone forcing you to purchase and own the stock? If you disagree with AAPL’s stance on sustainability then sell the stock. If enough sell and the stock declines then perhaps the board would make a change I leadership. That’s the epitome of the free market.
