sorry, I made a mistake

According to a 2009 Pew Research Center report, there are an estimated 456,000 Muslims in Ukraine.[15] In the Crimea, the Ukrainian Muslims make up to 12% of the population. A major part of the south steppes of modern Ukraine at a certain period of time belonged to the Turkic peoples, most of whom were Muslims since the fall of the Khazar Khanate.

The 12% I saw was just the muslim population in the Crimea alone, not the whole country.

So the rag heads are off the hook for this one it seems, but the rest of my statement stands.

to me that is code speak for ... we are mad that Russia fights back against the muslims and we want to punish Russia for victimizing it’s sodomites.

It's not very complicated. Ukraine has a per capita economic output that 2x India's and 1/2 China's. This is a white European country right next to the EU, whose per capita output number is 10x Ukraine's. To put things in perspective, Ukraine has a lower per capita output number than Thailand, whose major industry is sex tourism, despite superior natural resources.

Russia is a country rich in natural and human resources. Its natural resources dwarf the US, Brazil and Saudi Arabia combined. Its human resources are world-beating, based on the cultural and scientific contributions of well-known Russians like Tchaikovsky, Pushkin, Pavlov, Kondratieff and Leontief. Its leadership, however, stinks, which is why Russia has Brazil's GDP per capita despite vastly superior resources. Why would Ukraine want to be associated with the systematic Third World-style corruption that is holding Russia back?

>>Why would Ukraine want to be associated with the systematic Third World-style corruption that is holding Russia back?<<

Maybe because Ukrainian perception worldwide is false and they are even more corrupt than the Russians?

They are also a masters of projection.

So-called Russian mob in US is 90% Ukrainian, Brighton Beach in Brooklyn NYC, known as ‘Little Russia’ inhabited mostly by Ukrainian ex-pats. ‘Russian’ prostitutes worldwide are 90% Ukrainian etc.
Ukrainians were extensively represented in Soviet secret police, suppressing all the peoples of Soviet Empire, yet they are claiming to be the biggest victims of that system, enabled by their representatives in the first place.

Lviv was part of Poland, called Lwow, until as part of dismemberment of Poland it became part of the Hapsburg Empire rename Lemberg. After WW I and the Polish-Soviet War it became part of Poland again. It became part of the Soviet Union under the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and confirmed at Yalta. It is the region of Ukraine, Galicia, with the most Western influence.

Thanks.

90% of conflict these days are in phony countries with arbitrary borders drawn by imperialists and/or communists in the early 20th century. Ukraine is really three nations, just like Iraq. Yet, we worship these mythical borders and go to war to preserve them.

Why else wouldn’t the peace-loving Ukrainians welcome the loving embrace of Mother Russia?

Certainly you're not suggesting they "hunger" for it...

Given the map at Post 36, it could be a combination “The Guns of February” and “Red Storm Rising”.

Except that it would never be written - there would be nobody literate left to write it.

Please tell me you just insulted Thailand, not Ukraine

Its (Russian) human resources are world-beating, based on the cultural and scientific contributions of well-known Russians like Tchaikovsky, Pushkin, Pavlov, Kondratieff and Leontief.

Tchaikovsky is of Ukrainian descent, Leontief (the singer? you sure you want to claim him? :)
Appreciate you not adding Gogol there

Soros put his snipers in there to shoot protesters and also police. Should civil war ensue, their monetary system will collapse and he’ll move in for the kill. This is why Glen Beck got fired from Fox. He was too accurate about George Soros who got him fired.

Ha! Lwów is the city’s name in Polish. The English spelling Lviv reflects the Ukrainian toponym; Lvov — the Russian. Kyiv/Kiev same, respectively.

Thanks Matt. I watched a video yesterday of those poor souls on the receiving end of those snipers. I understood that the ones with yellow armbands were Russians. What is your country saying about this?

One is undeniable, all speak native Russian which is clearly heard in the background. But, since the Russian language is commonly spoken in Ukraine, though by minority, this proves nothing.

But then again, as the news channels report, one of the snipers was seriously struck in a shoulder by a cobble stone and was hospitalized, where the medical staff saw and witness to a characteristic sign of the Russian special forces he had tattooed on his body. The tattoo is rather very hard to doctor.

Yesterday, Ukrainian protesters, or I should say revolutionists, caught one of them alive and barely managed to prevent him from being lynched by the crowd. They forced him to kiss the cross from the place where he shot dead his victims and forced him to kneel there. This actually lay all the doubts to rest...
