My guess would be that the low-grade morons who were putting together the story saw the mistyped Alexander, which should have been Alexandra, then proceeded to flower it up with the whole alternative lifestyle thing, instead of using their brains and fact checking the error.
Journalism is one of those fluffy degrees young people get because they can’t handle the math needed to get a good engineering degree, and if they’re not liberal when then get into journalism school, they will be when they get out.

Most of my school friends were married by 25 and had children too. What a bunch of idiots NBC is.
The media have created a situation in which I assume they are lying on reports that fit their chosen narrative. I check when I am suspicious, and I usually find what they can claim are innocent errors. Journalists systematically lie to push their agenda.
