Documents from an Ohio National Guard (ONG) training drill conducted last January reveal the details of a mock disaster where Second Amendment supporters with “anti-government” opinions were portrayed as domestic terrorists....
After excerpts of the report were read to him, Sims said it was “not relevant” to understand why conservatives may feel unduly targeted by ONG’s training scenario. “Okay, I’m gonna stop ya there. I’m going to quit this conversation,” Sims concluded. “You have a good day.”

In 1930s Germany, the Nazis went after all Jews, and anyone that spoke out against the Nazis whether they be socialists, Catholic priests, social democrats etc. Some Jews that had served in WWI felt they were safe, and the more secular Jews felt that assimilation gave them some limited immunity. We all know that they were dead wrong.
Maybe they are orchestrating the news prior to a terrorist attack which they intend to blame on the TEA Party/right wing extremist.
You know just like they did in 2010 when they orchestrated the news that the TEA Party were ultra violent, right wing extremist, Tim McVeigh wannabes then tried to blame the failed fertilizer car bomb in NYC on the TEA Party.
Of course the left didn’t orchestrate the news for the attack.

This is stupid. If I was writing the OPORD for this exercise I wouldn’t get so specific about WHY the kids were poisoned. Just say that they were poisoned! Yes you need to give the enemey situation but nothing as in depth as this. Silly lefties.

Hmmm… I recall back in the day when solidarity was making a lot of noise of in Poland that the regime there had a special police force kept separate from the people for oppressing them.

Where is the Republican Ohio Governor, John Kasich, on this? Does Kasich have a history of being an anti-second ammendment RINO? I remember him in Congress being a balanced budget hawk, but not much else about him. Maybe he is just ignorant of who the “enemy” is in this training.
Unless a National Guard Unit has been called up/activated for Federal Duty, that National Guard unit remains under the direct command of the Governor of the State the unit is based. Since this is an Ohio National Guard (ONG) Unit not called up for active Federal service, Governor Kasich is their ultimate commander and they serve under his direct command and control.
Since I saw no mention that this unit was under Federal Control when this drill was conducted and this article mentions them contacting state legislators for comment, I take it that is was a local ONG drill and not a Federal one. Kasich could and should personally order those conducting this training in the ONG unit to not use conservatives and second amendment supporters as terrorist in future ONG drill scenarios.
I believe that he is up for re-election in Ohio this year and remembering that he narrowly won in 2010, he can’t afford to piss off gun owners/2nd amendment supporters.

Why the hell would they poison the children? The children are victims of the establishment and common core...
This is nothing more than control freak statist “Projection” as socialists always seek to “Break a few Eggs” to make their commie omletes.
I would say that to be more realistic they would poison the visiting federal government overseer when they made their rounds to make sure that common core was implemented and that little johnny isn’t eating lunches from home that may contain peanut butter.
Most of the so-called by them “Tea Baggers” are people who actually OBEY the Law even if they resent the law, unlike the leftie radicals who practice a “Helter Skeletor” model of behavior.
Leftist Projection is an amusing and potentially tyrannical thing. A lot of the crimes commited by Stalin, Lenin, Mao and Hitler were based off of “Projection” of their own tactics onto their own internal enemies as propaganda.
