The thought that consoles me when I read stuff like this is: It’s the die-hards who vote in the Primary Elections and no one is more die-hard than fired-up, pissed off Conservatives. So, Karl Rove and Haley “Twangy” Barbour can waste their LIMITED resources all they want, like they did in 2012, but, money cannot defeat anger, passion and drive in a Primary Election. Their money will NOT be able to save Thad Cochran’s wrinkled, old, butt.

Is a low-turnout primary guaranteed in these half-dozen southern states where the GOP-e is anathema to constitutionalists?

You want a low-turnout in a Primary Theodore. You don’t want uninformed voters just voting for the name they’ve seen on the ballot for 30 years. Let the informed voters (Conservative activists) vote and the uninformed stay home.

Forgive my ignorance, but, isn’t George P. Bush Jeb’s son?

Yes. George P Bush is Jebbie’s son.

Ref. Post #17: Domenici, Stevens, Cochran...... sounds like FReeper staytrue has a history of rubbing elbows with Liberal Republicans. I hope that staytrue is not a Mississippi voter. I know now why the screen name “staytrue”. We’re supposed to “stay true” to the good ol’ boy GOP Establishement with no questions asked. Well, it ain’t happening and Cochran’s old, wrinkled butt is going down in defeat.

Already TX is pre-committed to Cornball and George P. Bush.

Yes, I am voting against Cornball and George P. on March 4, but I think both could get 65 to 70 percent.

Glad to hear it!! Thanks. Actually, I was more or less skipping to the national primary ... I do think that no matter what the balance of Republicans want, the fix is already in to override us and select a statist pro-government left-minded guy like Romney, AGAIN.

And I'm saying, we conservatives ought to be anticipating it and readying ourselves to take action on a different path than the left-leading one the GOPe will try to FORCE us to take.

Bless you Texans!!!

It was smart of Alexander to adopt the mantra Lamar! People in TN can remember that easily and act accordingly.
