The former Port Authority official who personally oversaw the lane closings on the George Washington Bridge in the scandal now swirling around Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey said on Friday that the governor knew about the lane closings when they were happening, and that he had the evidence to prove it.
In a letter released by his lawyer, the official, David Wildstein, a high school friend of Mr. Christie’s who was appointed with the governor’s blessing at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls the bridge, described the order to close the lanes as “the Christie administration’s order” and said “evidence exists as well tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the governor stated publicly in a two-hour press conference” three weeks ago.
“Mr. Wildstein contests the accuracy of various statements that the governor made about him and he can prove the inaccuracy of some,” the letter added.

No, his claim that he had been told after the fact that the closings were due to a study—and that he didn’t hear that it was otherwise until those emails came out in the news.
He spent two hours telling everyone he knew nothing about it at the time that it happened.
So we have another chief executive who is either a massive liar or is too incompetent to know what his appointees are doing.

Most of us know that this is all about Hillary/Bill taking Christie down if not out so the "little woman" doesn't have to deal with tough liberal opposition, which Christie is, to most of the rest of us.
We don't want another NE liberal GOP candidate in 2016 but right now we're caught up in the fight for our political life and for the life of America against our "own leaders" attempting to grab the graft from the C of C to give America away to anyone who invades our country and Christie is just another Amnesty-appeaser to us, so if you want him, take him PLEASE!

Another politician who lies when the truth would serve him better.
The “evidence” is probably: I was in the car with Christie and the “on the eight’s” traffic reporter came on the radio in the car and said “ 2 lanes going onto the GW bridge are closed.”
In it Christie said emphatically he had no knowledge of anything related to the bridge closing and only found out later.
That is in direct contraction to his supposedly knowing of a traffic study.

During he 2-hour apology, at one point he said he only knew about the intentional jamming the day before [Wednesday]. He even gave the time as about just before 9:00 a.m.
But, during his commentary he said he has 2 sleepless nights as a result of the issue. Since the apology was on Thursday, that meant he had a sleepless night because of the traffic issue on Tuesday night.
Didn’t everybody who drove that route know about the lane closures?
Yeah, but that was about adultery by a president and lying about it to a federal grand jury. Private matter.
This is about a traffic jam affecting hundreds of motorists.

He would have been a disastrous candidate. He’s off-putting, he’s morbidly obese, he loves mohammedans and hates the 2nd Amendment. Plus he goes weak in the knees like a twelve year old girl over Bruce Springsteen.
