Income inequality on the forefront of likely voters' minds, poll shows

Almost half of likely voters think income inequality is a big problem, said a George Washington University Battleground poll released Wednesday.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters call the large gap between the wealthy and the poor a “big problem,” while another 30 percent say it’s “somewhat of a problem.” They’re divided on the right solution though: About half say the best way to fix income inequality is to close the gap between wealthy Americans and the rest of the country while the other half say it’s cutting taxes and loosening regulations.

“Demonstrating the amazing ability of media to persuade the masses on a simplistic answer”

The DNC says it, the media repeats it, and the public believes it.

If you aren’t a party member, you have no chance.

It shows that Robert Heinlein was right - You can’t fool all the people all the time, but you can fool enough of them to run a good sized country.

I have seen other polls where this issue is down around 4%.

If it’s “on the forefront of voters’ minds” it’s only because the MSM has conspired to rub their faces in it 24/7.

You can get folks to believe stuff just by saying it. So, here we go sowing the seeds of Marxism.

We’ll pull out of it and learn our lesson, in 100 years.

The only way to deal with income inequality is to expand the private sector to make more rich people.

The government’s solution is to tax the rich, and redistribute the money to wasteful government programs that grow government and debt. In the end we are worse off than we were before the government came to the rescue.

If you tell the lie often enough...We don’t have a media anymore, we have a propoganda arm of the DNC.

Well, I’m outraged by America’s workload inequality. Working 50 hours a week with apparently a lesser standard of living than the Free $hit Army gets - $60K/yr - I want this fixed. Go drag them out of their houses and make them wave signs on the road, clean up the roadsides, anything!

SQUIRREL!

> “Demonstrating the amazing ability of media to persuade the masses on a simplistic answer”

Demonstrating the amazing ability of media to distract the masses with a newly introduced Obama agenda item so as to:

* forget F&F,
* forget Benghazi,
* forget IRS intimidation,
* forget NSA intrusion and
* forget the Obamacare disaster.

Time to ramp up the old class warfare meme; divide and conquer, etc.

SQUIRREL!

the only thing about “Income Disparity” I’m interested in... is figuring out how to get a job so I can raise my income and thus...contribute to reducing that awful disparity.

Unfortunately, Obama’s “comprehensive” “transformational” policies have destroyed so many American jobs that I remain mostly unemployed

Certainly he can talk a lot about his “income disparity” because he has caused so much of it.... (by driving millions of people into poverty and.or onto the dole)

gusopol3 :" Income inequality on the forefront of likely voters' minds, poll shows "

This demonstrates the power of the media ,
at face value "Income inequality " is defined in but one word :

GREED / COVET !!

In the lawless and greedy world that Washington DC bureaucrats is located , that isn't a dirty word !!
In the rest of the country, and in the 'real world ' , that word will get you shot !!
