One woman's opinion

This is an Open Letter to the doctors in the Senate and Congress who left their profession of medicine and became politicians. Did they forgot their oath, " DO NO HARM" WHEN THEY VOTED FOR OBAMACARE.

The erstwell doctors who became doctors to save lives are now politicians who voted to take lives. The lives of little people who gave the small amounts of their hard earned dollars to those universities that educate doctors. Who gave their hard earned money to different charities to find cures for Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Alzheimers, just to name a few.

The people who go to work every day, and GIVE TO CHARITIES and take the responsibilities to help universities turn out doctors and scientists to further their work for diseases that will prolong lives. Obamacare has already harmed over 5 million people who have lost their health insurance. Hospitals will be paid by how many elderly they turn away, not how many they are able to help.

These are your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and FAMILiIES OF YOUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS IN NEED OF THE GIFT OF MEDICINE GIVEN TO YOU BY PEOPLE LIKE THEM! PEOPLE WHO BELIEVED IN YOU! Is this what you want to be remembered for? Is this what will be on your conscience for the rest of your lives? Or is it that you have no conscience, never had one, or if you ever did, did you lose it somewhere along the way?

I could not agree more. The medical profession let America down to third world medical standards. I truly believe it is because we have been importing third world medical students who have no clue why the US had the best medical system in the world. They only know socialism/communism.

You got it backwards. The doctors didn't betray We the People.

We the People betrayed the doctors.

When organized medicine started firing on all cylinders around 1900 in America, the life expectancy was about 44. Now it is 80. Advances in medicine have been fantastic in scope and quality. Physicians (and researchers and other health care workers) have worked, and continue to work, ridiculously hard to accomplish this monumental advance.

But that was not enough for the American People.

They elected FDR, LBJ, RMN, WJC, and BHO, who destroyed American medicine with the following moves:

FDR: Social Security (robbing people of any incentive to care for themselves and prepare for old age and debility) and by tying health insurance to employment, ultimately making every facet of individuals' health care subject to federal law.

LBJ: Medicare and War on Poverty programs to entice the poor to breed out of wedlock and abandon their children to the care of the government. Not to mention the permanent super-lax immigration policies he signed for physicians all over the world to come here by the boatload and bring their third-world ways with them. Oh yes, LBJ also stole the funds of the SS trust and put them in with the general government revenues, thereby making the 'insurance' aspect of it a complete lie, and creating the current Ponzi structure.

RMN: Appointed Harry Blackmun, who wrote the fabulously popular Roe v Wade majority decision, thereby destroying the sacred Hippocratic Oath and allowing mass murderers of infants to mingle respectably with physicians, so much so that fully one half of conceived infants are now aborted (the other half mostly born illegitimate). From this travesty grew in-vitro fertilization, with its Nazi eugenic aspect and its misogynistic sex selection of living human fetuses. Thus making human beings basically garbage.

WJC: Struck out with his version of socialized medicine, but did pass HIPPA, effectively destroying all the privacy of the doctor-patient relationship.

Last, BHO: Cheated on multiple levels to pass the ACA, thereby removing all freedom from We the People in their receiving of care, and forcing the wealthy to pay for the unproductive for all of life's necessities.

At each step of the way, the rank and file physicians objected, remonstrated, protested, and fought each implementation above, and they lost. They were overwhelmed ultimately by a lazy, amoral, unprincipled, licentious, and murderous American People. Via their elected goons in the US Government.

The People let the doctors down, big time.

Face it: We the People are just no damn good.

The 20 doctors serving in Congress include four family medicine specialists, four obstetricians/gynecologists, two orthopaedic surgeons, two ophthalmologists, two emergency medicine specialists, two cardiothoracic surgeons, one general surgeon, one gastroenterologist, one psychiatrist, and one anesthesiologist.

In the House of Representatives 16 physicians are running for re-election in November; one is retiring at the end of this term. Two of the three physicians serving in the Senate are in the middle of their terms; only Sen. John Barrasso is running for re-election in 2012.

There are only TWO Democrats among the doctors in Congress (both houses) and Jim McDermott of Washington State is the only one with a vote. The other is a Delegate from the Virgin islands.

Apparently Jim McDermott is a Psychiatrist. I just thought he was crazy! I’m guessing that he has been self prescribing.
