Aw crap, that was last night’s post; I didn’t notice the date.
...........once in a Blue Moon............
I am 25 miles outside of Atlanta in the suburbs.
We had coyotes invade the “green belt” behind my house.
Georgia classifies them as “varmints”, meaning
you can kill all of them you want to, any time of the year.
In our developed area the county laws will not let you shoot a firearm
or even a bow for that matter,
within 400 yards of any other residence,
which pretty much puts the coyotes off limits.
State rules allow you to catch them in a trap,
but those same rules forbid you to release them live anywhere in the state.
My stupid neighborhood homeowners association spent several thousand dollars
to hire a trapper to catch them, and then they all weeped and wailed
when they discovered the trapper had to kill them!
They make great fur coats!
Those ain’t coyote ugly!
Back on the Farm, I had to dispatch several rabid coons and possums, but no bears or coyotes over there. I did see a large, grey wolf once with a goose in its mouth, but I was not on my acreage and it’s illegal to shoot from a vehicle. He bolted back into the woods anyway, as I pulled over and got out to get the AR-10 from its gun bag in the Jeep’s back seat.
This bear’s a small 300-lb female; I can tell from the scat and urine smell. Males’ scat is larger and urine has a very different smell, as they mark territory all the time. Didn’t see any cubs.
I mentioned it to a PA State Trooper today when I was getting the Jeep washed, and we talked for 10-15mins while we were waiting on our vehicles. He said his .40cal Glock sucked, and wanted to trade for my Kimber .45; I wished him and his family a Merry Christmas, thanked him for his service and shook his hand. He’s an Iraq/Afghanistan Vet.
He said he’d get back to me tomorrow with Park’s Dept people to help trap and relocate the animal.
it’s just layin there........the line is just layin there
That’s way too much for coyote. They are too abundant.
That, my friend, will cost you much more than $4,500 in the long run.
You should have traded him!
She will eventually want to go home with you and do something they call “cuddling”.
Remember: “Somebody, somewhere, is tired of her crap.”
hold on while I quit grinning.....hell I can’t get my lips off my teeth............
... I was gonna slide in a snide casual
...” cool, she ain’t ugly and the price is right, how much for the coat. “
I have a glock .40 w/no paper on it (for me, anyway).
A certain sheriff’s department in a certain county
whose name shall not be mentioned was “upgrading” their weapons
and they allowed all of the deputies
to take their existing service pistols home with them.
I ended up with one of them a few times removed from
the original paper-worked owner after a couple of trades.
For a kaboom .40cal Glock? LOL!

In the first one,
the guy admits he caused the problem with his reloading.
Not sure about what happened in the second one.
I have fired a few hundred factory rounds thus far with no issues.
That should remain legal. BS it’s called the “gun show loophole”.
I took the barrel out of my G27 and put in a 9mm conversion barrel and new mags. Haven’t looked back since. I even bought a 357sig conversion barrel for it and still prefer 9mm.
Hey you should join us on Sundays at 8pm for Tom Grisham’s Gun Talk radio show thread. mylife runs it.
Isn’t it the cartridge?
