Yes, I’m guilty of posting in error.
Remember, only the highly trained offices of the NYPD should have guns. In the event they need to use them, they will shoot 50 rounds in the general direction of the suspect and hope they missed the bystanders.
You know, it never ceases to amaze me how much people can tolerate these abuses to our freedoms and liberties so many have died for to sustain/protect...
That being said, I used to just try and shame people that lived in areas where things like this were enacted, that violate such personal freedoms and liberties...
I will refrain from that diatribe...
Obviously there could be work arounds, there are consequences to these elected officials that believe thry know better than YOU, and your basic, unalienable right to keep and bear arms has now been effectively removed from your bag of tricks...
All because registration was incrementally put in place and sold to the citizens of that municipality, and blessed by the state years ago...

See, I already saw what you posted in response to someone else trashing NY/NYC...
Tell you what, since you obviously, for whatever reason, desire to stay “home”...You made this bed, or allowed it to manifest itself, into this freedom and liberty sucking paradise...You made it, now lay in it...Stay right where you are, I never said for YOU to leave it...
NY, and NYC for that matter, from the get-go, when this Union started, has abstained from making the hard decisions for over 230+ years...
Why should I or anyone else leave the United States??? We still have the means to resist this onslaught of socialism embedding itself in your neck of the woods...We are doing way better than you keeping that at bay as well as we can...

It is absolutely illuminating that Southern (flyover country) conservatism is way farther to the right than the east and west coast conservatives...I’m not sure I would even classify those areas as conservative anyway...I have seen very little but a bunch of moderates and compramisers to their principles in the last 20-25 years...

Exactly the response I expected...Clueless??? Is that all you got??? Is there some spigot of wonderful elixer that causes people that live in your “home” (state) to npt see the truth??? Perhaps you believe these gun control measures enacted by your biggest city and state are wonderfully effective and genuinely well meant to control crime??? Much less you be free to cause mayhem with any firearm you may or may not be in posession at this time...

I would think a big clue would be that you are there in the place where your rights, freedoms and liberties (you know, your home) are well on their way to history...And I and many others who do not live in your “home” state are kinda sitting here wondering what it takes to get people like you to fight this...Not violently, just in case you were wondering if that is what I and some others were suggesting...If you could make changes in your representation in Albany, maybe even NYC...Seems to some that that is achievable, but it takes committment, and seriousness of purpose, which I do not believe you have...
