Yeah, I started trying to figure out how long it’s been since the age 26 rule was initiated. Wasn’t it about a year and a half ago?

I work full time, and I could NEVER just "take off" for several days.

Apparently she works in DC as a project coordinator II at World Resources Institute. She graduated from UCF in 2010 with a BA in political science and then got her master’s in 2012 at Florida International University in Latin American and Caribbean Studies as well as a certificate in Women’s Studies. I’m guessing she’s about 25, and I’m pretty certain she’s a typical O-bot.

Well the 26 rule went into effect in 2010, so she was either covered on parent plan until then (say age 23) or could have had cheap student coverage.
The Act covers children ‘til 26 even if they become eligible for employer coverage. So I’m not sure whether she’s saying she’s still on the parents plan now, or she left it when she got the job. Bottom line, though, she’d probably have had access to student coverage through 2012, even without ObieCare.
Any of those expensive treatments she got between (roughly) 19 and 22 wouldn’t have been impacted by ObieCare.
Weeks was 19 when she got Crohn’s.....how long ago did the Dicktator make insurance companies cover kids til 26??? How old is she now?? Something is missing, but I don’t know what.
