Ah, yes! Lorne Greene - who could make a reading of the local telephone directory sound momentous!

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

Eagles Up! Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!

My goodness, JJ, you are on a yo-yo string up there. We got into the mid 30s yesterday day and by evening were back to low 30s and high 20s. We are headed to the low teens at night and then single digits. More snow would be nice.

The Old Grey Whistle Stop has some really great old footage.

Yes I’m hangin’ but tired. I started my new gig today. Have you seen the Kindle commercials where the guy hits the Mayday button and gets Amie on his Kindle screen? Amie’s just an actress, but I’m joining a few thousand new Mayday faces for the holiday tech support rush. I’ll be spending Christmas Day answering questions - the most common one is “Where’s Amie?”

Nat King Cole has been one of my favorites since my youth. His phrasing was exquisite - perhaps the best of his era. I can't believe he's been gone for almost 50 years - he was still cranking out hits in the 60's.

Another of many things that were right in my youth that are forever gone.

Cole was also one of best pianists in the game.

(I'm amazed I can do all this just from memory.)
