I Am Now a Dissident (and You Should Be, Too!)

dissident n. a person who opposes official policy, esp. that of an authoritarian state.

We live in a nation where the constitutionally respectful are becoming increasingly outnumbered by those who neither understand the underpinnings of our founding nor recognize the benefits that flow from those foundational values.

In place of legitimate constitutional scholarship in our educational system, we see a systematic and unrelenting effort to overturn the original concepts of our Constitution in favor of some "living" replacement -- an "updated" document made for a diverse and evolving population, or so we are told.

Those who hold offices created by the Constitution itself are the very people using the power of those offices to usurp constitutional authority and undermine its place in American law.

After Obama utilized his entire first term to levy insult after insult against the rule of law in our nation, we conservatives appealed to our fellow citizens to vote with us to halt his lawlessness.  We discovered to our eternal dismay that we -- not they -- are the minority.

Not only that, but I'd say that we are enemies of the Statist State and must be marched to the ovens immediately.

I asked, "well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?" and the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.

And when I say "eliminate," I mean "kill."

Twenty-five million people.

I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.

And they were dead serious.

Really great article and theory. Maybe a couple of new books to read as well. However, a majority of the population is dependent on heavy taxation and money grabs in the form of fines with over- regulations. If you include the sheer dependents who receive monthly freebies and govt employees.. we cannot defend against a huge minority. In the end the people will vote to take from your wallet to put it in their own. What realistic alternative do they have? Go to work? Take a job in the private sector? Until we have an answer for this conundrum, we will have this problem. Same as the union noose.. we have no viable alternative.

What would you call someone who has worked their whole life, obeying the law, working and providing value and paying taxes and only wants this country to operate under the tenets that established it and is now confronted with a government that:

Ignores their rights under one or more Amendments,

Takes their money and gives it to leeches,

Steals elections using agencies of the government,

Is reviled throughout the government and media because they believe in God and go to church, don’t approve of bestiality, homosexuality and perversion;

Has enslaved their children in a debt scheme that will force them to work the rest of their lives for it;

Relegated their future healthcare to Doctors from Panama, Jamaica, etc.;and

Finally told they are terrorists because they have the audacity to join a group that wants honest and limited government?

Dissidents? Yeah, the Fed is lucky that they haven’t picked up their guns and done something about it.

I’m way ahead of this guy. I’ve been a dissident since Jimmy Carter, at least.

I refer to them as mainstream Democrats.

Well, yes. But I meant that Bill Ayers was actually in that meeting where they calmly discussed killing up to 25 million Americans that didn’t agree with them.

What if the “dissidents” are the majority of the people? Does that mean we are only called dissident by those in power who are threatened by us?

I don’t believe that the “dissidents” are the minority by a long shot. I think the current administration loves to distribute what we are supposed to believe to be the truth (aka “lies) via the MSM every day. Probably through the propagand and misinformation directorate.

I understand. That is mainstream Democrat thought. Check this video out if you question it...

(but yes, that was an Ayers quote, to specifically answer your question)

If the GOP is going to allow the rats to win anyway, we can play the vote splitting game in congressional races as well.

America has a President who daily and hourly breaches the defined and traditional rules of the office he occupies... he daily and hourly abuses the power he was meant to hold only until the next President is elected.

I blame the people of America who voted for him and the many supporters who legitimately or illegitimately paved the way for his nomination and 'election'.

Alone, “O” would have been powerless. Our society is so corrupted with free loading losers and the politicians who pander to them that it will be a long road back to anything like the social and cultural equilibrium we enjoyed, before.

It's not in the interests of the DNC to permit a return to that! With the collusion of the NEA and MSM, the deck is stacked in THEIR favor. The Conservatives who stood by for decades while Liberals inched toward their goal are JUST as much to blame.

You can blame that on the education system. The teachers and professors have sucesfully brainwashed our youth to the point they believe American is evil and will do whatever is needed to undermine those of us who understand how America came to be. History lessons are no longer important.

‘...I don’t believe the ‘dissidents’ are a minority by a long shot...”

I wish I could believe that, however, the public education system has largely succeeded in its brainwashing function. My 3 older daughters (between the ages of 20 and 26), have almost no friends or acquaintances who haven’t bought the soclialist agenda - same with my 16 year old.

This is anecdotal evidence of course, but the younger generation has really been hi jacked into socialism via the public education system. It will get worse with the common core agenda being put into place.

The few who might be convinced of the dangers of socialism are more concerned with “bread and circus” distractions by way of sports, social media, and netflix/movies.

I wish I was more optimistic.

(My daughters have not bought the socialist/atheist agenda, but I kept up with thoroughly “debriefing” them on a regular basis.)
