Tea party hero Rand Paul warned scientific advancements could lead to eugenics during a Monday visit at Liberty University, looking to boost the political fortunes of fellow Republican Ken Cuccinelli's bid for governor.
During a visit to the Christian school founded by Jerry Falwell, Paul looked to energize conservative supporters by warning that people who are short, overweight or less intelligent could be eliminated through abortion. With one week remaining, Cuccinelli is hoping the joint appearance with the U.S. senator from Kentucky will encourage the far-right flank of his party to abandon third-party libertarian spoiler Robert Sarvis.
"In your lifetime, much of your potential - or lack thereof - can be known simply by swabbing the inside of your cheek," Paul said to a packed sporting arena on Liberty's campus. "Are we prepared to select out the imperfect among us?"
Some states ran eugenics programs that sterilized those considered defective in the 1900s, though all were abandoned by the 1970s after scientists discredited the idea.
Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton joined Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe on the road for a second day in what is shaping up to be a campaign that will be decided by the furthest flanks of both parties.

Ken Cuccinelli for Virginia Governor 2013 Ken will continue to work to strengthen our economy and preserve our liberty.
McAullife is perfect for the Apparatchiks of Northern Virginia. Massive spending, cronyism, corruption, etc.
How can you fight graft and corruption when the population doesn’t want to stop the spending party?
Ken’s campaign is running on all cylinders and is entering the victory lap by campaigning at Liberty University. There, the campaign will pick up even more votes by swaying moderates and even liberals to vote for Ken.
Would Clinton be in the mix if McAuliffe had it locked up?
This is great news for Cuccinelli!! Every candidate that Bubba has ‘endorsed’ in the past has gone down in defeat!!
So, when McAwful shakes Bubba’s hand, he might as well kiss the Godfather’s ring and be prepared for a bullet to his campaign!!
Rand, we are ALL imperfect. In my mind there is only one perfect thing in the world, the Trinity. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I just got back from an excellent round of door knocking. Our voters are ready and they are motivated. They know who McAuliffe is. Today there was no contest. It was straight ticket all the way for nearly all the houses I talked to. Granted this is a red area its clear the people are engaged and that is good. I did see one Sarvis sign. Even McAuliffe voters don’t like him though I didn’t encounter any today. The one house I did Yesterday. The one lady was planning not to vote though everyone else was for McAuliffe. There was only one other weak McAuliffe vote who I believe I may have flipped. She wasn’t an ideolog and didn’t know much about the candidates and was only going off of what someone else had told her. I’m liking what I’m seeing.
Mmmmmmm......looks like Virginia voters are OK with Flaccid McAuliffe
applying Clinton political Viagra to co-opt state office (a Clinton MO to
co-opt votes for 2016 Hillary).
" Yup, it's in the back seat, Terry. The newest vote fraud meat grinder,
in tip-top shape. Oiled and ready to use on Cuccinelli. Complete with
easy, do-it-yourself instructions."

New, improved Dem Voter Fraud Meat Grinder
INSTRUCTIONS: Insert Republican here.

Virginia TV is teeming w/ McAuliffe ads---McA must be spending ten, twenty, fifty times what Cuccinelli is spending. Money is pouring into McA's coffers---heck, McAuliffe's got zillions at his disposal.
THESE GHOULISH THING REMIND ME OF YOU McAuliffe is apparently polling well---and prolly receiving mucho campaign cash---from the "dearly departed" b/c a lawsuit Democrats filed says the [VA State Board of Elections] is rushing to complete the purging of dead voters in time to have the desired effect on the upcoming gubernatorial election.....to make sure that those who no longer live here dont vote here."
(cackle) The "dearly departed" are also Hillary voters.
The buzz is Terry is 2016 Hillary's place-keeper. If elected, grave-robber Terry will insure she has the votes to win. (That's after he rapes the VA state treasury.)

DEAD AND READY Another shady example of how the connected ex-DNC chair, Obama suck-up, and Clinton confidant, mixes business with politics to profit himself.
<><>McAuliffe apparently lied to VA voters---according to McAuliffe's campaign, he invested $33,000 in the notorious Caramadre death fund and received $80,000 in return, a $47,000 profit. However, documents submitted in Caramadre's trial by federal authorities indicated that McAuliffe's profit was actually $114,000, or $34,000 more than McAuliffe admitted to voters.
<><> According to official RI court records, McAuliffes connection to Caramadre came to light via court records linking McAuliffes investment directly with the terminally ill, ailing mechanic; official forms identified them as "acquaintances" (apparently a requirement to allow McAuliffe to cash in).
<><> When the irrefutable court records surfaced, McAuliffes campaign then said McA did not know the mechanic and doesnt know why they were listed as "acquaintances."
<><> NOTE: if official files were falsified to profit McAuliffe, that would be a felony in any state.
Terry McAuliffe has promised voters he is committed to transparency, but in the final days of a Virginia governors race he leads, the Democrat has steadfastly refused to explain a complicated financial arrangement involving several family trusts and a union-owned insurance and investment company. For the arrangement, known in real estate parlance as a covenant not to encumber, Mr. McAuliffe along with two other trustees for family trusts in his wifes name asked a bank for a $750,000 letter of credit for the benefit of Union Labor Life Insurance Co., or Ullico, the union-owned company that came under a congressional investigation a decade ago for risky investments.
As part of the deal, new liens or sales contracts could not be placed on the familys home in McLean, Va., without the banks permission, according to land records that The Washington Times located in Fairfax County. The document was signed by Mr. McAuliffe and his wife as owners of their home property that was used in the transaction. [SNIP]
The covenant between Mr. McAuliffe and Ullico appears to have escaped notice during a 2003 U.S. House investigation into how the company lost so much money in Global Crossing. The Times was alerted to the document, sitting in a county records office, by a former labor official and prominent Democrat who was familiar with Ullicos loan arrangement with McAuliffe......[SNIP] (Excerpt) Read more at washingtontimes.com ...
