As I recall they did have a pretty good candidate. manchin had to convince the dummies that he was a conservative to win. Apparently that wasn’t really very difficult....

I do too. I hate it when Dems try to be down-home populists when in fact they’re full-blown libs. I consider Manchin to be the Dem version of Mike Huckabee.
