and extend its power to borrow money

Why can’t they extend the debt limit but not authorize new spending?

Cruz is not in a leadership post. Bonehead, Cantor and McConnell are.
As such, they can be removed from their leadership post.
That is what the wise poster was saying.
And I agree. Do you work for Bonehead?

Boehner could take a stand and go toe to toe with Obama and Reid and tell them no negotiations, no vote.
Get a speaker in there that will hold the line and act like the majority they are.
The media keeps calling the GOP a minority but they have more members from with all branches combined and The House is the branch of the people.

we heard Harry Reid in his ‘whiny, sing song voice’ and just a week ago he was ranting and yelling and calling Americans all kinds of nasty names...wow he must have smoked some of obama’s wacky grass..he made me ill and then I lol...for he is just as phony as the obama Tribe are...

hopefully when American’s vote in 2014 changes will be made, otherwise we can kiss our Freedom good-bye..

Guys, this really isn't our fight. Let the banksters' hired boys battle it out over their faux bragging rights - our duties are local. Our opinions aren't important to the owners of this puppet theater, so why waste time and energy trying to influence it?

Registering to vote is like registering for Obamacare - it just adds you to lists you would rather not be on.

Are you, perhaps, referring to Cruz announcing he would not filibuster the deal or vote to deny unanimous consent?

If so, that isn't a "cave". It's a recognition that his actions would make no difference to the eventual outcome. Instead, it would simply delay the process by a few days and, perhaps, open the door to some administrative mischief.

In other words, he's not interested in being petty and spiteful.

“hopefully when American’s vote in 2014 changes will be made, otherwise we can kiss our Freedom good-bye..”

Then I’m sure YOU will be attending the next local Republican Party meeting, volunteering for candidates, walking the sidewalks on election day, and showing at the next protests, right?

Otherwise, you can wish in one hand, and s88t in the other.

This isn’t meant for you directly, but Conservatives as a whole. We seem to keep waiting for “THEM!” to do something, while we sit on our a..es.

This is not a compromise. Boehner and Mitch McConnell bent over and Harry Reid shoved it up their rear-=—without any KY.

Ya know what?? I would like to get rid of every fugging one of them.

F it. Make Obama a Dick-tator.

They all let him do what he likes anyway.

Obama and Valerie played us. This was a predictable ending. How so many normally astute posters were suckered into this one,two shot completely baffles me.

hope that wasn’t meant directly to me..

I’ve been a Republican committee person in Ohio, always involved with my party...raised both kids to be good Americans, work hard and care for all..

retired now and in PA..tried to get involved with local Republicans..and guess what...they had a click there and didn’t welcome new people..worked for GWB, went door to door, got hubby involved...but my party group here in PA. leaves a lot to be desired..so have not gotten involved..

will remain a conservative voting American until my last day on earth.life is difficult here, economy in terrible condition...wish I was still a Buckeye to be truthful!!!! but it is what it is...
we just can’t seem to win.
