Author Ed Klein Claims Obama Aide Jarrett Is The ‘Architect’ Of Shutdown Showdown

President Obama’s top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown with Republicans over ObamaCare as part of a strategy to regain Democratic control of the House next year, claims author Ed Klein.

Klein — who wrote a provocative biography about Obama last year entitled “The Amateur” — said White House insiders refer to Jarrett as “The Night Stalker” because she is the only presidential aide who frequently spends time in the family quarters and dines with the Obamas.

Klein, who is conducting a research for a new Obama tome scheduled for next spring, called Jarrett the “architect” of Obama’s take-no- prisoners approach when it comes to his signature domestic policy initiative.

It was Jarrett who advised Obama that voters would mostly blame Republicans if the federal government ground to a halt, providing a golden opportunity to swing back control of the House to Democrats in the 2014 mid-term elections, according to Klein.

A Democratic House would give Obama an opportunity to pass immigration and other legislation blocked by the current Republican majority.

“It was during one of those nightly sessions that Jarrett devised the no-negotiating strategy that Obama has employed in his fight with the GOP over the government shutdown,” Klein said, citing sources within the administration.

“Valerie came up with the concept late at night, after the kids and grandma and were gone.”

“She convinced the president that a government shutdown and default offered a great opportunity to demonize the Republicans and help the Democrats win back a majority in the House of Representatives in 2014 .

Obama has threatened to cause default on the debt if congress does not grant him power over monetary control. He is moving to end the balance of government through coequal powers by assuming the responsibilities of the people's house.

The senate seems to be going along with him. There is a short clip here of Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst reflecting the same sentiment but from a different approach.

Sorry, I stand by every word I wrote. You evidently did not absorb my words when I stated: "I don't dispute her (Jarrett's) influence and her evilness. But what I see is Obama once again BEING DISCONNECTED FROM HIS OWN EVIL DEEDS." Please try to separate the two thoughts. This is what Rush has been emphasizing for months.

A preponderance of posts both prior and subsequent to mine bears out PRECISELY what I was referring to in my statement. Taking the heat and blame off Obama, he is referred to in posts above as stupid, along for the ride, his own lightning rod, a puppet, a performing monkey, a cardboard cutout, a wind-up toy, an amateur, a tool who will act as ordered and so on ad infinitum.

At the same time, Jarrett is described as the brains, a control freak, a shot-caller, pure evil, Rasputin, the real president, a mastermind, and so on.

While each of these two personages may be all of the above, the upshot is that once again Barry slips out of the ties which bind him to his regime's devastating policies and his own personal machinations. Everyone, particularly Jarrett, is to blame but he.

Hitler's advisors, right-hand men and confidants were evil....and we rightfully lump him with them but we hold him PRIMARILY responsible for the horrors of his regime because he was "The Won", as is Obama.

Obama's thugs, advisors, right-hand woman, confidants and the shadowy four dozen or more unelected "czars" that do his bidding behind and beyond any scrutiny are also evil.....but Obama must be lumped into that evil as the PRIMARY cause of the evil, not Jarrett or any other underling.

Instead, at least on this thread, Jarrett plus unnamed persons and mysterious cabals are the problem, leaving the poor, naive, unsophisticated, uninterested, lazy, untrained, helpless Obama to once again dance away unscathed.

Obama is dumb like a fox, stumbles with words like a Jimmy Stewart, but, like Stewart, is a consumate actor. To me, he is Public Enemy Number One, notwithstanding equally evil advisors sitting at his right hand.

Remember, if we lose all control in the mid-term election, Obama will still be president and can complete the destruction of this country. Therefore, we must concentrate on HIM and keep pounding away at HIM.

I assure you if I was trying to convert my neighbor and I pounded away at Jarrett, Soros, the virtually unknown czars, the shadowy cabals, I would get only the blankest of stares....and the shortest of short shrifts from a bemused neighbor! While WE understand the influence of Jarrett and, unfortunately, expend great time and energies on her, the man on the street doesn't even know who she is and could care less.

This does not mean we should ignore her or not keep a spotlight on her machinations....but for goodness sake, Obama is the evil at the top, not her.

Please show me - QUOTE me - where I absolved Odinga of his role in the current troubles. Show me my EXACT words where I said, "It's not his fault". You can't - because I didn't say it.

Odinga's role is not that of the criminal mastermind; he doesn't have the capacity to do it. His role is precisely what YOU yourself said: stumbles with words like a Jimmy Stewart, but, like Stewart, is a consumate actor. That is his role in this: the public face, the recognizable icon, the image for which women swoon and men get tingles. And his reward for a good performance is vacations, fine dining, and the adulation of the masses.

No, I do not absolve Odinga. He is as much a part of this as the rest of the ensemble cast in this drama. If you wish to hold him accountable for every evil in America, that is your perogative. When that glorious day of days arrives, and he IS held accountable, I will be right there beside you eating popcorn and singing Kate Smith songs.

But as an intelligence soldier, the shadows are my realm. And I watch the figures lurking there, and I will not lose them, for they are to be held in judgement as well.

I am with you. Obama was put in office to obey without hesitation or question[s] the orders of his handlers. As long as he does this, he will stay where he is.

Hillary? Hillary was groomed by them for at least 8 years, probably more, even to the point of having a New York Senate seat given to her during the Bush years while everything else was being set in motion and the known kinks straightened. Sometime between 2000 and probably 2007, Hillary was weighed by her handlers regarding her ability to handle the task they had for her. And was found wanting. Hence ,we got Obama. And to reward her [Hillary], appease her, or whatever term you prefer, she was given the Secretary of State position for a time and then she was to fade from the scene. However, Hillary being Hillary did not fully understand the message and began or letting her disciples make sounds regarding a run for the Democrat Party nomination for President in 2016. I believe that this was the purpose for the Nichols "revelation". It was to be a shot across Hillary's bow. Whether Hillary understands or cares remains yet to be seen. If not, different methods will be used.

Bill, I believe was warned when he left office to keep a low profile, refrain from public controversy , speak only when given permission and he could live a long happy making a lot of money and spreading as much venereal diseases among the fairer sex as he pleased. Bill has heeded his instructions. Time will tell as to Hillary.

I cannot prove a word of what I just wrote, nor can I prove the sun will rise tomorrow morning, but I believe it will and I believe that is what transpired with Bill and Hillary.
