NEW YORK — The driver of an SUV involved in a bloody weekend confrontation with a throng of motorcyclists was put in “grave danger” and feared for the life of his family when he drove through the crowd, striking a biker on the street, his wife said Thursday.
Rosalyn Ng said in a statement that she and her husband, Alexian Lien, had been planning to celebrate their wedding anniversary with their 2-year-old daughter on Sunday afternoon, but instead they were swarmed by a motorcycle rally on Manhattan’s West Side Highway.

The guy who's being portrayed as victim (because he stupidly got himself run over) turns out to be without a driver's license since 1999 and has never held a MA motorcycle license.

Prewtty much every single person I know who rides motorcycle knows this guy was an idiot. The crowd of bikers acted with group mentality with disasterous results. Lesson learned: don’t try to regulate the road on a motorcycle or bad things happen.
If this family wants to survive this financially they need to put the husband out in front of the cameras with all his injuries on display, with the vehicle. Guys at his company need to find a copy of the full video tape work it over and post it on YouTube.

Apparently the thing to do is take over the highway, exclude all other vehicles, and video yourselves doing stunts and wheelies. It looks like they were doing a rolling roadblock on the Range Rover to clear a section of road ahead.
That rolling roadblock maneuver is increasingly aggressive and dangerous. The driver’s response was predictable and reasonable.

The bikers I saw on the news last night were Hispanic. The SUV family were Asian.
It can't be a hate crime though; no Caucasians were involved.
SOB took a bike to a demolition derby. FAIL
