Ted Cruz has sparked a Republican civil war. He has done the bidding of the GOP fringe, in a self-aggrandizing crusade. And while he has enhanced his own position in the conservative fantasyland he seeks to rule, the practical effect of his quixotic campaign to defund Obamacare has been to elevate the president and jeopardize the 2014 elections for his own party.

Ted Cruz has re-energized the conservative movement.

Waahh

At least one Senator refuses to do the bidding of the Democrats, this cannot be allowed.

We aren’t the fringe. We are America.

...and you may want to research Haye’s previous less than enthusiastic support of Cruz's actions.

Do you know Hayes’ previous position on Cruz’s actions?

Thank you for another reminder why I dumped this rag and why I am so glad I don’t have to listen to this joker any longer! I dumped Fox News last November for The Blaze and am thankful daily.

I was GOP fringe, but no longer. The GOP is self-aggrandizing, power hungry, treacherous, conniving, perfidious, irresolute, recreant, unfaithful, traitorous, valor-less, untrustworthy, collection of knaves and miscreants.

You really should learn to let it all out, don't hold back. You'll get an ulcer. Come on, tell us what you really think!   ;-)

“Authors should not write that way.”

Exactly! Especially when the intro is what readers have been used to receiving from the rag publishing the article!

Lead with the thesis!

I did. Hayes wasn’t even this supportive earlier in the week.

More supportive than Hayes was when on the Fox Panel.

Party, party, party. Just because he thinks Cruz is representing the fringe...well, that fringe sent him to represent them. That’s just the way it works—get over it. We’re allowed to be heard, too.

And don’t preach to us about jeopardizing elections, you snob. Look at 2008, 2012...Cruz wasn’t there to help you jackazzes screw it up. Y’all did that ALL on your own. Enough of that kind of failure, you figgin’ snobs.

Now you can go back and read Hayes’ previous comments on Cruz's effort and get pissed at his rank hypocrisy.

'Just because he thinks Cruz is representing the fringe...well, that fringe sent him to represent them.. . . "

Davy Crockett wore fringe, and neither he nor the men that were with him put up a white flag when all hope of winning was dim. I think the example of those who fought for Texas has left us Texans with a rebellious attitude when someone comes along who wants to own us. We care about winning, but if we don't, that won't stop us.
