He asked Reid to continue speaking beyond 12:00 noon, but Reid said no. Thus, 29 minutes left to him.

“I am re-reading Atlas Shrugged”
I am in the middle of reading Atlas Shrugged and about a week ago, I LOST MY KINDLE. I think it fell in a trashcan. I looked for it a week and three days ago, I ordered a new one. It will be here around the 9th of Oct., and I’ll have to download my books, including Atlas Shrugged, from my Amazon account to my new Kindle. Right now, there is not a book in this house I haven’t read. Losing a Kindle, is tragic!

He’s just spelled out the consents he’s going to ask for. He would like to keep talking until he drops. He would like the vote on cloture on Friday evening and not Saturday when people will be watching football games.
I watched the exchange between Ted Cruz and low life Democrat, Dick Durbin. Objectively....Cruz mopped up the floor with him. And....he did exactly the same to Gutter, trash, Senator Kaine VA, making him look like the moron he is!!! It was wonderful to watch a master of debate in action!!! The Two Democrats were like frightened deer with headlights in their eyes!!! Bravo, Senator Cruz!!!

Couldn’t reach McConnell’s DC Office. Wound up calling Bowling Green. Lady was nice but abrupt. Sort of tried to tell me that they have inundated with calls and emails. She tried to shut me down (politely) and I asked her if she would not interrupt me. I then mentioned my email to McConnell was over two weeks ago and that it had not been answered.
She then tried to say that they have been inundated for over two weeks and were working hard to answer everything.
I told her I knew she didn’t want to take my call, and that the Minority Leader would not support Ted Cruz but I wish he would. I also said what the Minority was doing to Cruz and Lee was despicable. She thanked me for my views, politely told me it wasn’t that she didn’t want to take my call, but had another call coming in to her office. Yeah right.......
I will write him again I think after this is all over and let him and the rest of the Cruz and Lee haters know the reason why I left the Republican Party and what I think of GOP elites. Moreover, I believe I’ll tell them what they can do with their beg letters.

I laid down at around 6:30 and somewhere an hour disappeared til Vaeh came in all brighteyed and bushytailed and I gtoaned awake. Oh boy.
