Last time Rubio spoke, he was stressing how he, Cruz, etc., are the ones who are truly standing up against the political elite and for the regular guys. It would’ve been the perfect opportunity to tie it in to the filibuster in the ‘60s when the GOP was pushing the Civil Rights Act, and the democrats (Robt. Byrd) filibustered AGAINST civil rights.
The idiots assume, and are told, that it was the democrats who were in favor of civil rights when, in fact, they strongly opposed that. People need to hear the truth. Sadly, the people who need to hear the truth aren’t paying attention now; they’re focused on “Dancing With the Stars”, “Duck Dynasty”, Kardashians, etc. Brain dead.
