I never watched a single episode until a few days ago when I got curious is from all the discussion about this series on FR. Now I will be recording and watching all the Breaking Bad episodes over the next few days leading into the final episode. No waiting in anticipation for the next chapters for me. I will be mainlining this show all at once!!!

Same here.. I downloaded all up until current, last week (plus the last episode last night).
Took me 3 days to watch them all :p
Interesting (and annoying in parts), but a good watch.

I admit it. I’m hooked on that show. But I didn’t get addicted till about the 2nd season. I for sure plan on watching the 1st season to see what I missed.

At least I have been warned and don’t have to bother wasting my time checking the channel for a few days for something redeeming to watch.
Why doesn’t AMC just go ahead and change the name? They play classic movies about like MTV plays music videos.

Well, it'll keep you distracted from the Senate debate....
BTW..did you ever watch "Weeds?"

Feeling left out...
LOL This is the first 'Breaking Bad' thread I read deep enough into to find out it was a tv show.

I sure plan on watching. I started 2 seasons ago. Will love to see it from the beginning.

Stay up for days to watch shows about meth....? Will coffee be enough? Maybe for the first half day until you can figure out how to make your own. < note to DEA and NSA: just joking, no need to get a search warrant for my house to accidentally raid my neighbor and shoot his dog>

I have been watching it on Netflix and am hopelessly hooked. I will make sure to record this season in its entirety since I don’t know when it will be uploaded to Netflix. Great, great show!

i find it hard to identify with a show that glorifies a drug dealer whilst trying to keep children off drugs. if you like this, then go ahead, but don’t tell me that you find meth unacceptable

I was talking about this show and other cable series’ with a couple 30 year old professional types the other day, and they agreed that all the best series shows on TV were all on anything but ABCCBSNBC. I don’t know how those 3 networks keep as much audience as they have left.

I like ‘The Godfather’ so does that mean I can’t find the Mafia repugnant? I like Macbeth so does that mean I can’t find murder unacceptable?

The show hardly “glorifies” his life.
His life has been in a shambles ever since he started. I don’t think there is one happy person in the entire cast of characters.
He has ruined his life, his family’s and his close relatives’.
And it’s still a great show.

I wouldn't say it glorifies drugs. Everyone on the show is dysfunctional. All the families are dysfunctional. One (reasonably good) reason not to watch the show is that it is — despite occasional humor — quite dark and depressing. These are messed up people living sad and desperate lives.

Agree to a certain extent. Incidently, the most realistic show about drugs, meth, and the "drug lifestyle" is COPS. I also object to their dragging the name of one of the founders of quantum mechanics through the mud.
