White House spokesperson Jay Carney criticized Republican leaders for moving “away from compromise,” but when asked if the administration would accept any delay in Obamacare, he replied, “No.”

"House Republicans have decided to pursue a path away from the center, away from compromise in favor of voting on a piece of legislation that they know will not become law,” Carney said Wednesday. …

He’s too dumb to even notice the irony of his reply.

Democrats never compromise...

That's because when they "compromise", it's when they overstate their demands so that half-way (or, any-way for that matter) they fulfill their anti-liberty anti-property-rights anti-constitutional demands.

Jay Carney has never impressed me as being the sharpest knife in the drawer; so he probably did not even notice the contradiction...

The Obama regime just will not except it that they can’t destroy America in only two terms.

I wish someone would ask Carney or Obozo just exactly what is so beneficial about Obamacare. What makes this complete disaster of a law so extremely important to them? Even if someone in the media did ask such a question they would let them squirm their way out of answering with their usual mealy mouthed, change the subject run on answers.

I’m not sure the democrats in the senate, or the rinos, will ever cave. They know they’ll be re-elected no matter what they do. And even if they do cave, obama will never agree. Shutting the government down or enacting obamacare will both wipe us out. It’s just that one will take a little longer. This country can’t survive on part time workers.

They do compromise. However the compromise to their advantage. For instance they will open up the negotiations by saying they want to increase the budget by twenty percent. They will then settle for a ten percent increase.

They will not even discuss cutting the budget. They are OUTRAGED if anyone even mentions that.
As long as we let them frame the discussion we are always negotiating for half of our loaf and never for any of their loaf.

To Leftists, their progressive ideology trumps our God given freedoms, and always will.

The rats know Obamacare is illegitimate, never supported by a majority, is killing job growth, delaying the start of families . . . but must be protected at all costs in the name of saving face.

OTOH, more and more pubbies understand they can help their country AND their reelection chances if they vote to defund.

They know this is a litmus test not just for individual reps, but for the GOP. I am through putting up with the usual chicanery. This is a do-or-die vote for the party. If the GOP caves on horrible Obamacare, they know many in the base, like me, will walk away in 2014 and beyond.

It is really Obama who will not compromise. Other than name calling and intimidation, he has no process to negotiate an agreement that would be in the people’s interest. Winning at any price is what he wants.

I’ve already left the GOP, but any POL who votes to fund Obamacare is DEAD to me forever. Every last one of them. This is a litmus test vote for me.

Let’s hope the ‘ruling class’ gets the message loud and clear that we aren’t going to go peacefully and they can’t just shove this horrible law down our throats.
