"Speculation: Did the contractor who employed Alexis lose a contract with the Navy, perhaps causing Alexis to be laid off?"

I would think a computer contractor could probably cause a lot more trouble electronically than with a shotgun 1,300+ miles from home.

Embry-Riddle?

If he turns out to be the a lone shooter and connection to Buddism is confirmed, this may actually turn out to be "workplace" violence. Perish the thought that obama gets another talking point to hook into his gun-control narrative.

You said; “Considering how pervasive affirmative action is in the govt, if only whites were killed, that is a strong indication of something being not random selection of victims.”

You read my mind ... but we need to wait and see.

A friend said Alexis loved Buddhism.

“He loved to go to temple, go to meditate in Thai and English,” the friend said. “He could do both of them.”

Hmmm......something doesn’t add up here folks. Why would a meditating Buddhist go on a rampage?

He had previously lived in Flushing, N.Y., from 2000 to 2002. It is unclear where he lived from 2002 until he moved to Fort Worth.

Not every one who works for a computer contractor is a superhacker. Someone posted that he had started working in DC. If so, he didn't need remote access.

To be a contractor, I wonder if he needed a security clearance and I also wonder if it was revoked over the shooting incident at his apartment.
