Ravi Zacharias was recently in studio to record a radio interview for “Let My People Think”.

At the end of the program, Bob Ditmer asked him about the conflicts and turmoil in the Middle East. What’s the big picture? What is it that we’re not seeing? What is happening to Christians and the church during these times?

Ravi answers these questions and paraphrases Winston Churchill’s remark, “Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all other forms of government.”

Things are very, very bad there according to Ravi. He coins a new and descriptive term, "the Beirutization of the Middle East".

It is quite descriptive of what is going on there and the horrors that await.
