Maceman, muleskinner is pulling a bit of linguistic manipulation to achieve higher ground: talking down to you as if disagreeing with mule was equivalent of simply being childish. I.e., mule is the grown-up, and you are the child. It puts the "child" on defense with all arguments futile because, after all, they spring from "childishness."
It reveals a lot more about muleskinner than it does about you or about your suggestion to shake up the Republican party. Myself, I've written it off. It stands for zilch. Individual Republicans who are true limited government conservatives, would do well to look elsewhere than the Republican party to establish a philosophical identity.
Answer- not yet. For now, there is no feasible alternative.
