The Department of Homeland Security said Friday that an employee who runs a racist website predicting and advocating a race war has been put on paid administrative leave.
Ayo Kimathi, an acquisitions officer for Immigration and Customs Enforcement who is in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the government, operates the website named "War on the Horizon." It includes descriptions of an "unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race." Kimathi is black.
Kimathi has been with the department since 2009. His website criticizes whites, gays, those of mixed race, and blacks who integrate with whites. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, earlier this week reported on Kimathi's role in running the site.
... The website declares, “in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our Christian hearts can possibly count,” the Alabama-based SPLC said in its report.

I object to any and all racist statements, but I also object to the double standard that exists.
This article is an update — they finally put him on paid leave. If he had been white, he would have been probably lynched by now or put in jail...
How could they hire someone into DHS, and into a responsible position at that without a background check?! Or what kind of background check did they did that they didn’t find that he is advocating violence?

I would say that the investigation should go beyond his website. It should include auditing all acquisitions, financial deals, transactions and record books he handled....and a search warrant obtained for his house and garage.

He’s an acquisitions officer. Government procurements have to be awarded strictly in accordance with stated evaluation criteria, and be free from all bias. Just sayin...

When I read “paid leave” I knew he was black without going any further. If he had been white he would have already been fired and probably jailed.
This is the problem with centralized government in D.C. When it comes to hiring low paid contracting specialists you only end up with people like this. It is very frustrating dealing with these people. I had a friend that was taking a dependent to a posting in Vancouver B.C. He had difficulty getting his wife the appropriate passport, because the passport office clerk didn’t know that British Columbia was part of Canada.
I'll bet you a dollar to a donut that these morons aren't all that "low-paid" compared to the average private sector employee.
