The law of unexpected consequences...

I have no doubt Johnson thought he was doing something very noble. Sadly his altruistic efforts on our dime, literally destroy up to three generations of some Black families.

Don't try to defend LBJ. He is one of the worst criminal Presidents the Democrats ever inflicted upon the American People. The deaths of tens of thousands of Americans are on his hands.

I have no doubt Johnson thought he was doing something very noble.

Once, while on a trip with two governors, Johnson reportedly made the following comment in explaining why the civil rights bill was so important to him. He said it was simple:

"I'll have them niggras voting Democratic for two hundred years".

The quote is also mentioned on Page 6:
'Can America Survive? The Rage of the Left, the Truth, and What to Do About It' by Ben Stein, Phil DeMuth.

said by Johnson to two governors aboard Air Force One. The circumstances are reported in Robert Kessler's book
'Inside the White House'

IMHO...a pox on LBJ and he deserves to be relegated to the ashes/dustbin of history
