McCain and Graham are lobbying for the Muslim Brotherhood.
They want the Muslim Extremists to regain control Egypt.
Iron Munro, Cynthia, who should know, tells us that the perception that “the majority are militant muslims” is not the truth. Creating the impression that their faction has a popular majority is a common tactic, right out of Rules for Radicals, and Goebbels. Cynthia points out that Egyptians are far ahead of the US in their perception of who the Muslim Brotherhood, so-called “Militant Islam”, even though Erdogan tells us there is no such “Islam is Islam.” She tells us that the moderate majority in Egypt burned down many if not most of the Muslim Botherhood offices in Egypt.
Have you ever heard that there are many places in Egypt where women in burqas, nijabs, niqabs, are NOT welcome? The Muslim Brotherhood numbers somewhere between 600,000 and 800,000 membes. Voluble political parties of 7,000,000 and more have applied for recognition and been denied. Cynthia is like one of the children who reported the truth about the Emperor. I particularly liked her comment that her political asylum status is in limbo while the Boston bombers had papers in weeks. She has been here for 18 months, and her friend and colleague is quite dead.
I hope she has friends in powerful places because she is very knowledgeable, and, like Obama, photogenic. If she gets the attention her message deserves she can have enormous impact on American’s understanding of what is really going on in Egypt. Did you catch that it was Cynthia who informed our FBI of the Mursi involvement in Benghazi. She is well-connected and surprisingly well-informed, telling a message which lifts the hopelessness that accompanies a report that a majority of anyone chooses Islamic tyranny over freedom. We saw Obama help crush “The Green Revolution” in Iran. There are many in the Middle East, from the power structure associated with Islam, who were granted powers they had lost by Jimmy Carter, with the able assistance, of the KGB. Iran and Egypt once knew almost Western levels of freedom. In Iran women attended co-educational university. I Egypt there were virtually no niqabs or burqas, and Cairo's streets were as international as Vienna's.
How did it happen? The most compelling explanation I've seen is Diana West's American Betrayal. Egypt only looks like a Muslim majority because the media in both are controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood, because of the power of petroleum money and the weakening of our Constitutional foundations begun by the Soviets in the late 20s.
A couple of know-nothing do-nothing appeasers. Screw them both.
