Mass immigration is destroying the fabric of society

THE fashionable metropolitan elite constantly tells us that mass immigration makes our country more prosperous and vibrant.

But such claims are just hollow ideological propaganda. They bear no relationship to the grim reality we see all around us.

In truth, the vast, unceasing influx of foreigners over recent years has done colossal damage to Britain. Our social cohesion has been undermined, our civic infrastructure overloaded, our sense of national identity eroded and our standard of living reduced.

Nothing symbolises this wreckage more clearly than the growing number of filthy shanty towns and encampments that have sprung up across Britain because of uncontrolled immigration.

These havens of squalor would have been unthinkable in our towns and cities only a couple of decades ago but the collapse of our borders has meant they are now rapidly becoming a shameful part of our urban landscape.

In Hyde Park, one of the capital's renowned landmarks, a large group of Romanian beggars recently set up a makeshift camp, bringing a mix of intimidation and foulness to the area. Though many of them were moved on last week by the authorities, with some even given free flights home at the expense of the taxpayer, a significant number of Romanians are now back at the site.

What is so disturbing is the fact that these beggars are just the advance guard of a huge army of parasites that will come to Britain from 2014, once 29 million Romanians and Bulgarians are given full rights by the European Union to settle here. The shanty town phenomenon can be seen just as graphically in the alarming incidence of migrants living in sheds, huts and outbuildings across once well-ordered suburbs.

Bussing on a global scale.

A great analogy. I never thought of it in those terms. The only difference is that while immigrants are being bussed in, native Europeans are not leaving (yet). The native Europeans are, however, fleeing the areas where the immigrants are settling in large numbers, thus creating foreign pockets within European nations. These pockets are often adversarial to their host nation and it's native people.

It's already happening, but not in sufficient numbers to attract attention - see Bruce Bawer's "While Europe Slept."

A single change:

In truth, the vast, unceasing influx of foreigners over recent years has done colossal damage to the USA. Our social cohesion has been undermined, our civic infrastructure overloaded, our sense of national identity eroded and our standard of living reduced.

Making us less of a nation than a disputed territory. I’m ready for a good dispute. I can’t stand these peoples ignorant ways and don’t want to be near them!

A fractured society is less able to assert its will over the government bureaucracy that seeks to control it. Plus politicians and bureaucrats look at poor immigrants as new clients - job security.

I can't think of a strategy more antithetical to the founding principles (even while we're being told how fundamentally American uncontrolled immigration is).

Like another poster said, I'm also ready for a good dispute. I'm just afraid it will be over before a challenge can be mounted. It may already be over.

Why does our leaders want this to happen to us?

A number of reasons:

1) They attribute the two World Wars to nationalism so they want to destroy national identity;

2) They honestly believe that various people and cultures are equal and can live side by side in a Utopia;

3) White guilt;

4) They correctly believe that the new immigrants are more apt to vote for their statist agenda;

5) They are controlled by globalists who want to create a global identity so as to be able to sell their goods to more people.

I'm sure that I'm missing more legitimate reasons, so feel free to add to the list.

Catholic Bishops are self-serving. They'll claim that they believe in mass immigration due to us all being brothers and sisters under God, but they really believe in mass immigration because the majority of new immigrants (Latinos) are more Catholic that the existing U.S. population. They will help keep the U.S. Catholic church afloat.

The salient question is: Where do they get the money to live on? If it is not from the government or charity, then they must be working for it. If they are working for it, then it is hard to see how the economy could be affected.

One of the reasons that TV shows like Downton Abbey are so wildly popular: No third world immigrants! Escape the reality of your surroundings, if only for an hour.

Just as too many changes in the routine of a family (death of someone close, illness, loss of job, moving) can cause major stress, the same happens in society when to many changes happen in too short a time. People need to adjust to change and it takes times.

People tend to make more stupid decisions in these situations or they just get depressed, give up, and drop out. All of the things they have thrown at our society are designed to “overload the system” AND the people.

I think Alinsky, obama, and the “progressives” are very happy with that.

THE fashionable metropolitan elite constantly tells us that mass immigration makes our country more prosperous and vibrant.

British elites - like our liberal elites - wanted cheap labor for their middle classes to compete with...

Elites told whatever lies were necessary to convince the 'marks' it was 'cool' to be so worldly. It was all a lie - they wanted cheap factory workers, maids, gardeners, and whores. And to keep wages down...
