The State legislature needs to take the route that other states are pursuing that forbid any political subdivision from enacting these contrived non-discrimination ordinances that are not mirrored by the state. I think Kansas is one of them.

If there is more than one involved, then prima facie, this is a conspiracy to deprive a group of a fundamental Civil Right, and is actionable civilly and criminally under the United States Code.

Pardon me, sir-I am Hispanic, and neither a liberal or a drone, nor is anyone in my family, or any other people of Hispanic ancestry of my acquaintance. Generalizing about, and labeling people by ethnicity is really not something I expect to see at a conservative site-leave that to people like the Chavez wannabe mayor of SA and his mother, who brought him up like that....

SA is surrounded by conservative counties and small communities-it is no different from Austin(gag) or any other major city-liberals of all kinds live there like flocks of those noisy Grackles-they are totally helpless away from their services and stuff. You are correct-lawsuits are a good thing in this case-the more the better to suck away the city’s revenue-I lived in SA for many years, and lawsuits and the resulting loss of money are the only things they understand.
I did imply in general, and yes, overwhelmingly, Hispanics vote for the “D” candidate. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have a raving liberal like Castro in the mayor’s office.
They seem to populate the large cities, not the rural ones. It’s the same here in TN. Nashville and Memphis are the most dem, liberal controlled cities in the state and both are high crime, high taxes. No way the minority which is white can vote out bad elected officials, in many districts all that run are dems, gutless old party won’t waste a dime to fight for those districts, they know it’s a lost cause.
Which is why we moved out of Shelby Co and into Tipton, car ins. house, etc went down, along with taxes. Just a 22 mile move. Now in a GOP district. And ya know what our neighbors are all colors and they fled the cesspit long before we did. All are very friendly and helpful so far.

I’ve read the fiction Bible based Left Behind series, and it follows a lot of what is happening in the world now to a T.
One day God will tell Gabe to blow the Rapture horn and those that are His will rise both the living and the dead, gone in the blink of His eye. Then follows the Tribulation period of 7 years, and Bowl judgements. When it is finished Jesus will bind satan for a 1,000 yrs in Hades. But between the sounding of the Horn and the 7 years of Tribulation and judgements comes much pain, death and suffering for believers who turn to GOD to after the Rapture.
LIBERAL Christians will be LEFT BEHIND, as they do not follow GOD’s word which is un-changable. Two will be standing side by side, both confess to be Christians, only the true Christian will be taken, the other will not.
Interesting this comes out as Holder is coming after Texas on voting issues. If the libs can remove their opponents from government, it’ll make things that much easier for Holder and his crew to inflict their will on us.
I lived in the burbs of SA whenever not traveling with the military from 1970 until 2002. The anglo liberal bunch in SA has been around since the 70’s and the old GGL, buying votes and electing raving loon mayors and council members-I remember them because as soon as Carter got into office, they went wild with doubling utility bills and saying how good for the environment it was.
My husband didn’t have much rank then, we had a little kid, and were not long out of college, with our first house-we didn’t see it that way. That was when I decided I was returning to the country come hell or high water. I was not brought up to live on a reservation.
The area we lived in had a repub councilman once-Ed Garza-he became mayor, but he turned out to be a rino.
The only Hispanic liberal I took note of before the last 20 years was a councilman named Bernardo Eureste, who got into a hilarious scandal involving a young female staffer-he was married-a tryst in his Volvo in a dark part of Breckenridge park, and him being chased around the park in his underwear by a couple of guys who surprised him en flagrante. The cops came and saw most of it, then the news stations got ahold of it and the jokes wrote themselves for months...

Good analogy! You know what Grackles are noted for, beside noise? They shit on everything.
Thanks-you can’t get away from Grackles in cities-even in the burbs where we lived they would congregate in the trees in the evening, squawking and chattering-and making a mess on any vehicle you left near a tree. You never see them out here, fortunately.
Since Grackles are Canadian birds, why are they even here-isn’t it too hot?

Grackles are tough migratory birds that range all the way down into Mexico. Heat does not seem to bother them at all. I often see thousands of them roosting at dusk in Houston. They are a plague. For those that don’t know, Grackles are very aggressive birds and unafraid of humans, much more so than crows. I consider them the “Amish” of the avian world.
