Aloha, Hawaii...((HUGS))...my co-worker’s kids are in Hilo for the summer and the oldest, a high school junior, is staying for the school year.

They went somewhere to visit, and were turned away because they weren’t wearing long pants. They had to go shopping.

Kinda like socks. LOL!

I have a prayer request. The man I have been “dating” for about 5 years was told in March that he has ms. This is a guy who has always been active. He played football at Auburn. I talked to him in May and had not heard from him since, until I got an email fom him today. He is really struggling with this and is real depressed. He is a retired psychologist so he knows about depression. I don’t know what I should do. I have invited him to come here but he has not made a decision. He does not need to be alone and dwell on this. The only time I have dwelt with depression was the weeks after my daughter and husband died but that only lasted a few weeks. Thanks.

Good evening, Marine...((HUGS)). Sounds like one of the IT guys. I asked him if he caught any fish on his trip.

He said, “Of course...I don’t go fishing, I go catching”.

Ditto, yarddog. I didn’t answer question 3; it didn’t mention the meat department which is where I head first.

Love, love watermelons.

I love watermelon too. I've noticed here in LA they now sell "watermelon filets" which is the inside of the watermelon without seeds. I love them!

Oops...I’ll have to get the Mods to fix it.

Work has been so busy today, and I’m still at it, I only had time to get the thread ready 5 minutes before posting and didn’t proofread.

So after you put two “p’s” in the word shopping, did you take the test?

Please Mr/Mrs/Ms Moderator, would you please be so kind as to correct the word shopping in the title? Thanks!!

Thank You, Dear FRiends!

Lil would have made a great FReeper.

My late Hubby Mike Trained her on Computers well back in the day before she went to Romania, and she was definitely “ONE OF US”, if you catch my drift.

If I am in Winn Dixie, I first head to the seafood section. They often have the large fresh shrimp 12-15 to a pound at half price. They are headless but have shells and are not deveined.

Those large ones are the only ones which are really any good.

I then go to the meat section to see if they have any New York Strip, Porterhouse, or Rib eye on special or day old. Their meat is far far better than Wal-Marts.

For staples which are in boxes, bags, jars, etc. Wal-Mart is really a lot cheaper. They are usually cheaper on dairy too. Wal-Mart is typically cheaper on frozen food although Winn-Dixie sometimes has sales which are better.
