This is not recent news, but I wanted to post it here, in case anyone else was looking for encouragement to pray for our Christian Brothers and Sisters in Egypt and around the world. To pray for people like Pastor Saeed, and the persecuted. This is footage from 2 years ago, but it shows the bright light of Hope.

I had to watch the whole thing and just join my heart to these people in prayer for their whole country.

Reading the stories and seeing the photos of the violence aimed at the Christians is making my heart sore.

Egyptian authorities arrest Muslim Brotherhood leader!!!!!!

Egyptian authorities escalated their crackdown on deposed President Mohamed Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood by arresting the Islamist organization’s top leader, state media reported on Tuesday. Mohamed Badie, 70, was detained at a residential apartment in Nasr City in northeast Cairo “after information came to the security apparatus locating his place of hiding,” the state news agency reported.

The Interior Ministry’s Facebook page showed a picture of Badie, with dark rings under his eyes, sitting in a car between two men in black body armor, with a caption confirming his arrest. "Carrying out the decisions of the public prosecutor to arrest and bring forward the ‘general guide’ of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Badie, and through collected information and observation of movements, it was possible for the criminal search apparatus under the direction of Cairo’s security (services) to arrest him," according to the caption.

New Muslim Breotherhood Leader??? Momoud Ezzat....just as dark as the other one and likely just as insane....his forehead bump's pretty big so he's knocked his brains around in there quite a bit! Which banging there heads is what some do in order to maintain the bump....

Your account of the prisoners death is correct....

As for the 21 new recruits who were on their way to accept awards for finishing their training...it is still being investigated of course...however pretty clear what happened...the MB footprints are all over this...

There were clashes when the family members saw their sons bodies...between Mb and residents etc....but brought under control...strong police presense from what I saw tonight there....
