She’ll never say that unless through error. If she were to say that, it’d open up St. Skittles background, school records, etc. to refute the statement. No, if she takes the stand it’ll only be to cry and attempt to elicit an emotional response from the jury. You can bet your bottom dollar she keeps her mouth shut.
For the reasons that you mentioned... she may never take the stand. There are questions that she would never answer or never answer truthfully and she would easily be shown as a perjurer.
