Good move!?
Sounds good to me.I no longer consider myself a republican.
Right behind you, Sarah.
Good move?
Float Governor float!
Yeah, I know the argument it will divide us etc etc etc. But the GOP is not even close to Conservative They marginalize the Tea Party and are doing their best to get rid of us. America, just via demographics, is going to be perma-Dem within about 10 years UNLESS there is an alternative. It is better to lose now and build than it is to be 10 years down the road and it is too late. Staying in the GOP is nothing but fingers in a dike ... and the flood is inevitable ... a flood of liberalism,
I’m about there, but it’s a shame we are unable to retake the GOP. We have had some gains in recent years, but lingering RINOs really hamper party reform. The thing that worries me is, if conservatives abandon the GOP to the RINOs, maybe they just “well...bye” us and walk hand in hand with the Rats to push the big government agenda while we sit on the sidelines being generally ignored like Libertarians. I mean, the bulk of GOP Senators and Representatives seem to be on the right path on most issues; if we could just root out the Quislings and get the party back in line with founding principles. Could we, through concerted effort and action, target and drive out the RINOs? Would it be more difficult to do that or found a successful third party? I’m SICK of what GOP leadership has been doing, but maybe the answer is to change the leadership rather than bail on the party. Tough choice. If we can actually supplant the GOP, I’m for it. But the danger is we just make ourselves totally irrelevant.
I am with them.
Yes. The GOP is a complete disaster and needs to go away.
I left the GOP in 1996. My only question is what’s taking everybody so long to accept the simple truth that the Pubbies aren’t conservatives. Extreme denial by my fellow conservatives. It’s really amazing how much abuse rank and file GOPers are willing to take.
I’m in...I’m sick of this party. As a third party we may not have the money and power of the RNC, but at least we’ll know that our party leaders believe in the same principles as us. And it will be a party we can truly get behind.
