Summary of Incident
Brooks went to a car lot under the pretense of wanting to test drive a car. A mechanic accompanied him on the drive. Brooks stopped to pick up a co-defendant. The mechanic was put in the trunk of the car. Brooks and his co-defendant went to a motel. The mechanic was brought out of the trunk and taken into a motel room. The mechanic was bound with coat hangers, gagged with adhesive tape, and shot in the head, causing his death. Brooks and the co-defendant fled the scene.
McCarthy, Kimberly Lagayle
Summary of Incident
On 07/21/97, McCarthy entered the residence of a 70-year old white female in Lancaster with the intent to rob the victim. A struggle took place and victim was stabbed numerous times resulting in her death. McCarthy then used the victim's credit cards and used the victim's vehicle for transportation.
500th eh? Sounds like a good enough reason to have a BBQ and some beers.
Give him a Plaque in recognition of a numerical instance that only seems remarkable in a base 10 system. Sheesh! :{)
Texas has the death penalty and they use it.
Meanwhile there have been between 500 and 1000 murders PER YEAR in Illinois alone since 1960. Chicago accounts for many of them.

Will this be the 3rd female executed? It’s their state so they can, but I’m not crazy about it.
Neither am I, but how do you pass a law that only applies to men? I'm sure she deserves it, but .....I don't like it.
You see it is when the murder is about to be put to death for his crimes that the liberals suddenly start wailing about sympathy , charity and forgiveness for the criminal that is! Screw the victims and their families!

I have no problem with it either, at least not in this case. Kimberly McCarthy not only killed her 70-year-old neighbor, she also cut off her victim’s fingers to steal her rings.
And back in 1988 she was indicted for the brutal murders of an elderly couple in the 80’s. Apparently she was never tried for those murders.
Females can kill just as quickly as males. Why should they get a free ride.
Sick, lame, lazy, blind, crippled or crazy.
You murder you pay the price.
Cause liberals have had some success stopping the former - but not the latter - by simply running their mouths.
