Well gee, we probably didn’t need to publish his name. Perhaps they can print his address just to make it a bit easier for the enemy to find his family..

No, the name and location wasn’t appropriate nor was including his photograph. Doesn’t make any difference how many he personally killed. He did his job and that is all that is needed to know. Let the man go peacefully without bringing anymore attention.

Durbin should be imprisoned Immediately! He is trying to get this man murdered on American soil, so the fedzilla/globalists can exploit that to the max! My God, would the al Qaeda murderers please rid US of these Washington oligarchs?

Well, to be fair, he is writing a book. He's asking for the publicity.

Probably trying to put away a few bucks for the family if the chemo doesn't work out.

but the News Media or the Obama administration was Highly Irresponsible releasing his name to the Public.

Get a clue. Dillard Johnson co-wrote a memoir using his own name.

Sounds like more than two kills a day, every day, for more than 1,000 days. Is that possible? Didn’t he ever go on leave?

Well Thanks for the Info.I guess He has other demons to worry about. But if I were in his shoes I sure wouldn’t want to have my identity known if only for the safety of his family.

If it was all in his Bradley during the invasion and if the Iraqis had put up more of a fight, then maybe. But what really kills the story is his "dabbling" in being a sniper. That makes absolutely no sense.

"Hey, sir, I know I'm a Bradley Commander, and I'm a senior NCO, maybe even a Platoon Sergeant, but I'd like to chill all that for a bit this deployment and take up sniping."

It doesn't happen.

Also, I was a Bradley crewmember for several years in my enlisted days, and I was in the Infantry for a decade. Who aside from snipers (real ones) and fighter pilots track their kills? When a Bradley destroys a vehicle, the BDA (battle damage assessment) sent up the chain describes the vehicles destroyed and, maybe, a guess as to how many enemy KIA.

The comments on this blog are most interesting. 80% throw the BS flag, 5% swear he’s the real deal, and 15% say wait and see until more research. Regardless, most agree it’s very unprofessional and non-traditional for military serviceman. Maybe this is the new era. “What did you do in the war, granddad?” “Hell I defeated the Germans single handed and then went to the Pacific and finished them off as well”

Humble? You've got to be kidding? Who counts their "kills" and claims to be humble? How did he "confirm" those kills? This assclown sounds like another braggart.

“I think the crew of the Enola Gay would beg to differ...”

ROFL! I had to read it twice to get my head to recognize what you were saying, but you’re right, the Enola Gay had far greater kills.

Oh, I don’t know. My oldest brother was an occasional sniper in Vietnam. He was assigned to an engineering unit, but was sometimes called on to be the long gun on ambushes. He was also called away to sit on an airport’s roof during the Israeli hostage crisis during the Munich Olympics when he just happened to be stationed there The Army let him use a very nice customized rifle although compared to what they use now, I thought it just looked like a tricked out hunting rifle.

Good point, but this guy was 38 years old in 2003 when we went into Iraq. He was essentially a "senior citizen" in the military world.

Senior NCOs don't go on sniper missions. He was a platoon sergeant, pushing 40, and was a sniper missions? Snipers are Staff Sergeants and below.

This guy saying he was a 40 year old Sergeant First Class platoon sergeant that had a part-time job as a sniper (with over 120 kills) is like a Battalion Commander sneaking away to pull guard duty at a checkpoint.

Sorry, I just don't buy it.

This dude personally killed nearly 3000 bad guys? There are entire battalions that don't get that many kills.
